I had a friend like that.
She was my best friend and we were just insanely close.
We never dated but we'd walk around our high school holding hands, talking, the occasional kiss.
It was weird for everyone but us.
We'd always get asked "so are you two, like dating?"
And we'd just laugh like "no?? this is my best friend??"

It's very hard to not come out to my whole family at times like that.
Like one day I am going to blow my whole life out of the water because of a god damn joke.
So I hope someone will make room for me in their closet, because I'll need a place to live after that.

My grandma is unintentionally hilarious sometimes though.
She's still homophobic and an asshole, but because she doesn't know of my Gay it leads to funny things.
Like one day we were off with my mom and talking about them Gays and my grandma was like "I don't mind gay people, I'm just not going to invite one to dinner" and a family dinner was coming up so I went to my mom like "so does this mean i have to sit outside now?"
It was a fun lil giggle. xD

My grandma is a freak.

If anyone in my house thought i worshiped Satan, I'd be homeless because my grandparents are super religious.

One lives in my backyard.

I keep trying to be like "that's racist" but no one ever listens.
It's annoying.

My family uses the 'n' word.
Both -a and -er.
In front of everyone.
Even black people.
Which we only know, like, one black guy.

My family is just racist, and some are homophobic.
Other than that it's your typical assholery.
All the real issues are in the past.
Drugs, jail, rehab, more drugs, more rehab.
For my uncles anyway.

O mah lord.

Yikes.
Okay, I'm adopting you both now.
I mean my family sucks but not that bad.
Wow.
