Normally I take cranberry pills in order to prevent an infection.

I'm not a big cranberries fan, but I do love when it's mixed with pomegranate juice.

@Unicorn: For the longest time while I was growing up my mom would force me to take it whenever I got sick. Then get pissed when I threw it up from gagging. Even though I told her repeatedly that would happen. Mostly now though I just suffer through being sick.

@Unicorn: I've heard that too, and hoping I will never have to learn that through first hand experience. If Alka Seltzer can make me gag, so will vinegar.

@Unicorn: Drinking apple cider vinegar mixed with some other stuff and just nope.

@Unicorn: It's not the pain that concerns me with that. I don't have insurance, so should that evil ever befall me I'd have to take my mom's disgusting home-remedies.

@Unicorn: I have yet to suffer those thankfully.

@Unicorn: Yes it was, I was pretty relieved when it finally went away.
I'm hoping that I've already suffered enough, cold/flu wise for the rest of the year. That two cold I had months ago was bad enough.

Oh man that sucks.
I've had a lower and upper uti for a full month and some change.

The infections are less frequent than when I was a kid, but I had them a lot as a child too.

My bladder and kidneys often bother me, yay chronic infections and shit. Lol I kind of just woke up thanks to both my bladder and my stomach.

and of course if you try to ignore it, it just gets more and more painful.
