So far Lestat the Musical has been keeping pretty accurate to the book, the songs essentially the same dialog just sung. And Anne Rice had a pretty heavy hand in it which explains why it's so accurate. So that gives me hope for Mean Girls having Tine Fey's hand in it.

Is Mean Girls getting a musical? And I've been having that thought with films for a while now. Tons and tons of adaptations and remakes and reboots. Hell I'll take a bad idea at this point as long as it's original.

So far I've only found cam recordings of the entire musical, nothing cut down.
I have no idea why there's a Matilda musical. There's also a few horror movies that have musicals such as: Silence of the Lambs, The Evil Dead, and Carrie.

There is indeed a musical, it didn't last for very long though. Which is a shame because like it pairs the best of Anne Rice with the best of Elton John. Finding music from it has proven to be impossible for me to do. Lol there are a lot of weird musicals made from movies and books. Like Matilda has a musical.

Ah boo, I can't watch it. Oh well there's plenty of batshit insane movies in English.

Is it in English? Or will I need subtitles?
