@MoodyBats: aaaah, then I suggest black and white shading, like a grayscale kinda thing :) takes the focus of picking complementary colours and such and you can focus on shading. Just don't try shading hair the first thing you do xD

@MoodyBats: if you are more used to cell shading you can start with soft shading, it's a good way to start out to get towards the semi-realistic shading :)

@MoodyBats: Usually when giving critique one doesn't point out EVERYTHING
everything can always be better even if it looks good you know :)

It's best to focus on the thing you really the piece would improve most by giving a few pointers.
