Kaneko was more than thrilled when Allen asked if she wanted to see how he made the remedy. "Oh? Could I really?" She asked with a soft gasp, her hands clasped together. "I would love to watch you work. I promise to watch in silence as to not to distract you." She promised. The last thing he needed was a distraction. To see him work, it didn't seem like a big deal but to her it was. Watching someone work always fascinated her ever since she was a little girl. Whenever a repairman would come to the house when she was younger, she would watch them fix the AC or whatever it was. Strange wasn't it? It depended on who you asked.

Oh? He sold his remedies in town? What had made them stop coming though? That, was a question she was too afraid to ask. It was a very personal one, something he would share if he ever wanted to and felt comfortable enough to do so. She walked around, looking at all the herbs and ingredients on the bookshelf. Some she could name in her head but there were others that she had no clue what they were.

She chuckled softly, nodding her head. "Oh, it's alright Allen, I understand." Privacy was important you see. "Allen, is this where you keep the remedies as well?" She asked and realized that was probably a silly question. "Y-you'll have to forgive me. I don't own any herbal remedies so I wouldn't know where one stores them. It is why I ask. B-because you clearly enjoy making them and I'd like to learn about the things you like so much." She commented nervously.

@kenome: Yeah that would make sense. You're already at the top of the ladder. Getting a new job means you'd be at the bottom again. D:

Purples are kinda hard to read too actually. Maybe it's only good for like, bright colored fonts. Hehe

Really? I thought the black would make it easier to read the colors.

'No I don't want to skate. Don't you see my perfect face? If I get a scar on it...' He wanted to say but Lyle only gave her an apologetic smile. "Well....I would but as you can see, I didn't come here with the intention of skating or doing anything. I came here with the intention of talking with Troy and watching you enjoy yourself. So no I didn't buy any skates to bring. So I guess maybe next year." He said, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. "You're doing great though and I'm glad you're having fun." He said to her. "Lyle you can wear mine." Troy said with a grin. Lyle was about to protest but Troy only raised a hand. "It will be fine and it will make her happy." He said quietly so only Lyle could hear. "Go on and have fun, I'll join you in a bit." Lyle said, handing the guards back to Troy then walking to the bench to put them on.

Kaneko followed Allen, mostly keeping an eye on him to make sure to help him if it looked like he might fall but he never once faltered. He knew this house like the back of his hand. With every step taken, she heard a creak here and another there. It was an old house for sure. For being so old, there wasn't an exaggerated about of dust like one would think. Yes there were dust bunnies and particles in the air but nothing out of the ordinary. Dust was everywhere no matter how much you cleaned. Ever wear a clean shirt and then brush your hand along the sleeve? If you did, you'd know that dust particles would easily rush out into the air when you did that.

Kaneko was silent, taking in the details of his home. It was in such a better condition than other houses she had seen so even though it wasn't the newest house, it was very well taken care of. She stopped outside the small room before slowly walking in. There was a bookshelf filled with all sorts of things and it was clear that this was where he made his remedies. The books had collected dust and so had the table. The small bed confused her, was this where he slept? "So this is your study? Is this where you make your herbal remedies?" She asked him quietly.

Lyle guessed the guards were used to prevent the blade from scratching any other surface and in turn made it a little easier to walk in them. "You're a natural!" Troy said, getting Lyle to look up from the guards and looking at Aria as she slowly started to skate around the rink. At least she was having fun. Troy kept his distance, the way a coach would when training their skater but he was always there in case anything were to happen.

Kaneko looked back at the door as it closed behind them then looked around the house. She didn't have to live here to know that it had been filled with people at some point in time. Had this been the house he had grown up in? Or had he moved here after a while? Either way, the place was massive and it was easy to get lost but luckily she had Allen to show her around. The creaking floors showed her its age. This house must have been around for years. So this was the main room, it was lovely even though it was lonely. She followed him to the kitchen area and smiled. "Beautiful." She said softly. The one thing she noticed was that the dining room looked abandoned and it made her sad. He truly lived alone here. Why would anyone live in such a nice house by themselves? Where did everyone else go? Why did they leave him alone?

"You have a very beautiful home Allen." She said truthfully. It was much nicer than hers. She thought so anyway.

The battery is almost full! I wonder what will happen when it does fill up.

Troy walked over to the bench, sat down and started to tightly tie on his ice skates. He walked to the rink and then lifted one leg, reaching down and taking the guard off he set that foot down on the ice. He did the same to the other and then handed Lyle the guards. "Hold these Lyle." He said to him. Lyle only nodded and examined the guards closely. He had never seen them but he kind of guessed what they were for. "Have you ever skated before Aria?" Troy asked her.

Kaneko smiled softly, her nose and cheeks slightly red from the cold. "A little but I should be okay." She answered. 'I probably should have worn pants instead of shorts.' She thought to herself. Oh well. A little cold weather wasn't going to kill her. She thanked him every time he would help her. He didn't need to but he did and she felt like an idiot for fumbling around so much.

They passed by the tree and she noticed it and wondered what could have left that mark there. It was probably a bear. They were in the woods, it wouldn't surprise her if it was in fact a bear. It did frighten her a bit, what if they ran into a bear? She didn't even realize that what had left that mark, was Allen himself. The large manor slowly came into view. It looked like one of those old houses you see in the movies or read about in books. It was old, very old and statues were falling apart. There were cracks here and there, weeds sprouting out of them, fines all over the walls. Kaneko listened to what Allen had to say and shook her head as she stared at the house. "I like it Allen. It gives your home character. It makes it unique. I want to thank you for having me over, I didn't expect it but I would be lying if I said it wasn't a pleasant surprise." She said honestly meaning every word. It wasn't every day she was invited over somewhere. Well, she never was actually.

Skate with them? He hadn't agreed to it had he? Well he might as well give it a try. What was the worst that could happen? "Troy...have you ever had serious accidents?" He asked after a while. Troy looked at Lyle, "Really? You want to ask the scary question moments before you go out on the ice?" Troy asked. "The scariest thing that has happened to me personally was getting a few deep cuts. So yes I had to get stitches but you just have to get up and keep going if this is something you really like to do. I've been skating for years. A couple of scars aren't going to stop me from doing this." He explained and stopped when they came to the ice rink. "Here we are."
