Yeah it sucks. I don't take them unless it's like...2am and I'm still awake. That's when I take them because well yeah, I kinda need them at that point. lol

Hmmm I'm hoping that I can. I havebn't been drinking my sleeping pills because well...I don't want to. lol

Lyle looked down at his hands which rested on his lap. "Everything okay dear?" his mother asked and he nodded. "No worries your highness, we just had a small chat. I thought that perhaps opening up to one person at a time would be easier instead of opening up to all of us at once." Troy explained politely. He noticed Aria kissed Lyle's cheek but Lyle didn't return it. He wondered if that was normal behavior. He didn't know Lyle very well but one word came to mind after speaking with him...pride. Nothing wrong with that. he thought to himself. "Lyle has always been a reserved person growing up. Being an only child and living the life he lived, it wasn't easy for him to go out and make friends." The king explained, finishing his drink. "Poor thing. You should have given the boy a sibling." Troy's aunt commented. "One child is more than enough for us." The king countered. "Besides, he has made a friend, Aria." The queen added, motioning to Aria.

-yawns- Hey everyone.

"I figured I would remove you from that situation. I could tell you were growing upset." Troy said softly as they stood at the foot of the stairs. Lyle smirked, "It was that obvious?" He asked and Troy nodded. "This is still out of my comfort zone. Having people point it out doesn't make it any easier." Lyle explained. "I can understand. I didn't like social gatherings either but after a while you get used to it. My aunt means well, but she does have a problem with keeping her opinions to herself. I apologise for her actions, she doesn't do so to upset you." Troy assured. "Just take a deep breath and let's go back in there." Troy suggested. "Thanks for understanding..." Lyle said quietly. Troy chuckled and wrapped an arm around Lyle's shoulders. "Of course I understand, I've been in your shoes once. You're doing a fine job though. The people here look happy. You should be proud." He said. Lyle looked at Troy and smirked, "Oh but I am." He replied and started to walk back to the dining room, Troy following behind and then both of them sitting down once they entered the room.

Troy stood up and looked at Aria. "I have. This kingdom is lovely. Perhaps I'll have to visit it more often. I'm happy to see that you are feeling better, miss Aria." He said and looked at the others, "Excuse us." He said and motioned for Lyle to follow him out of there. Lyle looked at Aria and frowned before quietly following Troy out of the dining room.

"See? Told you she'd be fine." Lyle said simply, looking down at his empty plate and empty glass. "I'm glad you feel better dear." The queen said with a smile. "I agree with what Prince Troy said. I am aware that I need to talk to people a lot since I am the future king and with all due respect, I'm doing so right now." Lyle continued and looked at Troy's aunt. "One day at a time, nothing wrong with that." Troy commented.

"As the future king, you do know that you'll have to talk to many people almost all the time right?" Test aunt pointed out. Troy cleared his throat and gently pat Lyle's shoulder. "I think that Prince Lyle knows that very well and I'm sure that he'll talk to people eventually, once he feels comfortable." Troy started. "As my parents say, everyone opens up at a different pace and there is nothing wrong with that." He added. Hearing what Troy said surprised everyone. "Your parents raised you well I see." The queen said with a smile.

"Getting along?" Lyle repeated and looked at Troy then at his aunt. "Yes... I suppose so." Lyle started. "It's strange. Having someone else to talk to. Normally I wouldn't be talking though, I'd be working with my father instead." He answered truthfully. "So you still don't exactly enjoy talking to people?" Troy's aunt asked. "That's right." The king answered with a nod of his head.

They joined the adults back in the dining room and took their seats. "How is she?" The king asked once they had sat back down. "Miss Aria is fast asleep at the moment." Troy answered. "Well at least she's getting some rest." The queen said softly, finishing her food and drink. "At least she has no classes to worry about right now." She added, looking at her husband. The king nodded, if she's still sick tomorrow I'll call the doctor over. However, I'm sure she will be fine." Lyle hoped that she would be. He continued eating and sipped his drink. "It looks to me like you both are getting along." Troy's aunt noted, looking at both Troy and Lyle.

Troy looked at Lyle, "Oh, and you will?" He asked. Lyle sighed mentally. He knew Troy had a point, checking in on Aria wasn't supposed to be interesting. He just didn't want this guy near her. There was an unspoken rivalry between them to impress Aria and he didn't plan on losing. "Follow me." He said quietly and excused himself, Troy doing the same and following Lyle out of the dining room and up the stairs. "You have a beautiful home." Troy said honestly. Lyle glanced at him and smiled. "Thank you." Lyle answered before stopping in front of Aria's bedroom door. He knocked on it before opening it and walking inside, Troy silently following. They both smiled when they saw her sleeping. "Poor thing." Troy said quietly and walked over to her bed then pulled the blanket over her so that she was comfortable. "She'll be fine." Lyle said. "You seem confident in that." Troy said quietly then he noticed the fox and laughed softly. "You got her a fox?" He asked. "She wanted one. Come on, we should let the lady sleep." Lyle said and started walking out of her room. Troy looked at Aria one last time before following Lyle out and closed the door behind him.
