"It's a shame miss Aria is feeling unwell." Troy said softly. His aunt nodded, "I know. I've never seen her get ill before. I hope it's nothing serious." The queen commented softly. "I'm sure she'll be fine dear, she's a strong girl." The king pointed out. "Father is right, Aria will be fine. I can go check on her right now." Lyle said, taking another bite of his lunch. "Why don't you take Troy with you?" His mother suggested. Lyle looked at her, a surprised look on his face. "Mother, I don't think that Troy would be interested in such a thing." Lyle said. "Nonsense. I'd like to check on her too. I see nothing wrong with that." Troy answered. "Don't you want to stay and chat? You're our guest, I don't think you'll find this interesting." Lyle pointed out.

Lyle watched her leave and hoped she would be okay. He wondered what could be wrong, she seemed to be fine only moments ago. He continued to eat his lunch and listened to the conversation going on, rarely speaking up. He was too busy thinking about Aria. He already missed her even though she was only gone for a few seconds now. Troy hoped that Aria would be okay. He glanced at Lyle then looked back at the adults and smiled politely. He wanted to learn more about Aria.

The king and queen looked at her and nodded. "You may." The king answered. The queen frowned, "Get some rest dear, I hope you feel better soon. If you need anything, just let us know." she explained. Lyle would have walked her to her room but he wasn't sure his parents would allow him to leave the table and abandon their guests.

"I know the feeling. I'm always busy with work too. The life of royalty, am I right?" Troy asked and laughed softly. Lyle just chuckled, not letting his guard down around the guy who had flirted with Aria right in front of him. Of course Troy didn't know the situation but that didn't matter. He looked at Aria and followed both her and Troy down to the dining room where everyone was waiting for them but having some sort of conversation. Lyle again, wasn't comfortable. He just didn't like social gatherings. He only went through with them because he had to. He was going to pull out Aria's chair but she had already sat down so instead he walked around to where his mother was and handed her the flower, looking away. "Oh? Did you get this for me?" she asked him. When he nodded, the queen smiled and took the flower, smelling it before standing and hugging her son then kissed his cheek. "You really are a sweet boy. Thank-you dear, it's beautiful. I'll put it in a vase and in my room, I promise." she said and kissed his cheek again. "You're welcome." Lyle said quietly then walked over to his seat and sat down. He just wanted to disappear, he was very embarrassed and the day wasn't even over yet. Troy took his seat then as well, smiling at how the queen behaved after receiving a flower. It was sweet to see how close this family was.

When he finished, he ran his hand through his hair and looked over at Troy when he heard him start clapping. Oh wow that was embarrassing. Lyle stood up and bowed politely. "T-thanks..." he said quietly and sat back down. "You play very nicely. Being doing this for years right?" Troy asked with a smiled. Lyle nodded. "Y-yeah." he answered. "I thought so. My parents wanted me to take up an instrument but I never was interested in it. I can tell you love playing the piano. Do you play it all the time?" Troy asked. Lyle looked at him then looked at the flower and picked it up. "Not really. Just some days. I don't have time to play every day. I'm busy with work."

Lyle continued playing, focusing on not missing a single note. It would be embarrassing if he messed up in front of Aria and Troy. Troy smirked as he listened to Lyle play. He had to admit that he was talented. The way his fingers moved quickly across the ivory keys and never once messing up. It was like magic really and he could tell that playing the piano was Lyle's passion just by looking at how he played and how relaxed he looked.

Lyle led them inside and over to the room where his piano was waiting for him. He set the flower down on top of the piano and sat down, looking at the keys he let out a deep breath. He had never played in front of anyone before, he always played by himself and usually stopped if someone walked in. He had to play something, anything and so he started playing something off the top of his head. He just hoped no one else walked inside while he played.

Troy didn't believe her but he didn't want to push it. He didn't know her, so he had no right to ask such questions. He followed Aria over to a different part of the garden and looked around, "It's beautiful here. You must really enjoy spending some time out here." he said to her and looked over at her. Hearing what she said, he tilted his head to the side and looked at Lyle who looked over at Aria when she spoke. "You play?" he asked him. Lyle looked at Troy and nodded slowly. "I do." he answered. "I...I don't know Aria. Prince Troy is enjoying his time out here. I don't want to cut it short." Lyle answered. Troy shook his head. "Show me." he said simply. Lyle blinked in surprise and looked at Troy. "You want me to...play for you?" he asked. Troy smiled and nodded. "I'd love to hear you."

Troy noticed the look on her face and stood up. "What's wrong miss Aria?" he asked. Lyle knelt down and carefully plucked out the Chrysanthemum, figuring he'd give it to Aria or maybe his mother. It had been a very long time since he had surprised his mother with a flower. Hopefully she would like it. He didn't know what flower was his mother's favorite but this one smelled really sweet.

"Exactly, I know all this already." Lyle said quietly. He would have kept talking to her but he didn't want to be rude to Troy. After all, they were supposed to be showing him around the place. "We can talk later." he said softly and walked off to look at other flowers. He never understood why females liked flowers so much. Even Claudette loved flowers, so did his mother. Every female he had met loved flowers. "Weird.." he said to himself and lightly ran his fingers along the petals of a pink chrysanthemum.

Troy looked surprised but nodded, "Of course." he said and bowed politely then sat down and picked up one of the hydrangeas. Lyle blinked as he was pulled away and looked at Aria. "What's wrong?" he repeated, not sure what she was getting at. Then she asked if he was ready to go inside and he crossed his arms across his chest. "I was ready to go inside the moment I stepped outside. You're having fun though, that's what matters to me." he answered then blushed at her accusation and looked away. "Me? Jealous of that guy? No way! I have nothing to be jealous about....nothing at all. Come on, let's keep walking. It's rude to keep a guest waiting."

Wow, she had accepted the rose?! Okay now he was hurt and angry. She was basically giving Troy the okay to keep going. He couldn't let this continue, but he didn't want to be rude either, it woudln't end well if he did. He had to deal with this for now. "Anything for a lovely lady such as yourself." Troy answered and placed his hands behind his back as they continued walking. "So you've lived here all your life?" he asked her.

"Ah, so you're a lover of the classics." Troy said with a smile. Lyle would have rolled his eyes but he knew better than to do that. Instead he just looked at the gardens and wondered what the adults were talking about. Probably nothing interesting. Troy then bent down and plucked a red rose before handing it over to Aria. "For you, my lady." he said politely. This caused Lyle to look and he wasn't too happy with what he saw. He wasn't stupid, Troy was clearly trying to win over Aria.

Lyle walked with them, keeping his hands in his pants pockets as he fell silent and listened to them both talk. At least Aria was having fun. Troy smiled as he walked along with them and listened to how passionate Aria was about this. "It sounds to me like you really enjoy flowers. Do you have a favorite?" Troy asked her curiously. She was a lovely girl, maybe he could get her the flower she loved.
