He walked out to check on him.
He started to shake him but stopped himself.

Eke slept hard.
He had been tired sure, but his depression wasnt helping.
It was pretty late int he day when he finally sat up.
He rubbed his eyes and sighed messing with his hair.

"Im the one who should be sorry...i..should have told you...i should have said something..." he leaned against ryker.
"I..." he started to say something then shut his mouth.
Before long his arms went limp and his breathing became soft and rythmic as he had worn himself out enough to fall asleep.

He hugged ryker crying. He buried his face into rykers chest.
"No...its okay...i dont expect you to fix it...I just...need time. I need a break." he wiped his face.
"Maybe just...maybe we could...just...find a place to just...live for a while.." he lay his head on rykers chest.
"I could..get help...i just...i shouldnt have kept it from you. I just...didnt want to make you upset...i wanted you to be happy...but im tired of pretending" he sniffled.
"No...its okay...i dont expect you to fix it...I just...need time. I need a break." he wiped his face.
"Maybe just...maybe we could...just...find a place to just...live for a while.." he lay his head on rykers chest.
"I could..get help...i just...i shouldnt have kept it from you. I just...didnt want to make you upset...i wanted you to be happy...but im tired of pretending" he sniffled.

He hugged ryker before pulling away.
"Theres only...so much one person can take...can go through...before they break.." he looked to the floor.
"I cant take anymore...i cant just smile and pretend it never happened anymore. I...i cant pretend to be happy...when im not..." he looked up.
"I...dont know how long itll take...but i cant...just be fixed with a plea and a hug this time." he began to cry hands in his pockets.
His whole body trembling as he cried right there.
"I said...awful things...i said unforgivable things...I really messed it up this time...i cant just move on this time. Not after what happened in the capital and with the explosion...i cant...do it anymore!" he began to sob.
"If i force another smile im gonna go crazy! Part of me is dying inside every time i try to stay positive! i just cant do it anymore!" he fell to his knees against the rotting wood floors.
"Im in pain ryker...i havve been for a while. I kept telling myself if i just...smiled and moved on it wouldnt hurt...but its...its too much now...too much has happened. im like...a tragedy magnet...i...i cant...i just cant anymore ryker...i cant fake it anymore..."

"Not your fault" he muttered.
He wiped his nose and sighed.
"We should...move on..." he got up. He started to reach out for ryker and say something.
He flashed back to all he said and stuffed his hands in his pockets and clamp his mouth shut.
He nudged ryker to move and started walking.
His yellow eyes were just sad and full of regret.
"Not your fault" he muttered.
He wiped his nose and sighed.
"We should...move on..." he got up. He started to reach out for ryker and say something.
He flashed back to all he said and stuffed his hands in his pockets and clamp his mouth shut.
He nudged ryker to move and started walking.

He just sat there in the hall.
He stared out the broken window, throwing pebbles out of it...or trying to.
He just felt...empty, limp.
He was pretty sure he was not fully recovering from this one.

Eke bit his lip.
This was his fault. How could he face ryker after this?
Tears ran down his face as he turned away and just sat down on the floor in the hallway.
He felt so broken, so guilty.

"Ryker..." his voice was soft and strained.
The light and joyfulness in his eyes gone, replaced with hollow sadness and regret.
He looked away not sure what to say.

He fell to his knees panting and shaking.
His heart was pounding and the stress made his icd hurt some.
Sweat dripped from his face as he tried to catch his breath.
What...had he done?
Tears ran down his sweat covered face as he realised the horrors of what he said.
He didnt mean any of it. Would ryker ever forgive him for it?
He curled up against the wall hugging his knees and sobbing quietly.
His heart was pounding and the stress made his icd hurt some.

Now he was confused, scared, and his mind was foggy.
He dropped the poked holding his head trying to dig his claws into the images to bore them out. He didnt know what else to do.
He just wanted things to be quiet.
"Everyone just shut up! shut up shut up! No more...make it STOP!" he cried desperately.
He tried...he had.

He was shaking pretty bad as if...having an internal war.
"They want me to kill you. Maybe i should." he took a step back.
"But i dont want to. i just wish theyd stop whispering in my ear." something...entered ekes eyes.
They looked almost...crazed.
"Maybe i should kill you..how can i trust you...how can i turst anyone!?"
