@Deaa: my budget doesnt really allow for a big one off dinner, and all two of my friends work ALL the time. if one is off the other is working..so...yeah

@Totalanimefan: i adore the skully mask tho...would be cool if there was a cosplay where icould use it

He looked at ryker his yes still wide.

"I...ryker im...an...im an elder dragon." he was starting feel faint.

He knew he needed to calm down. His borderline hyperventilating was stressing his heart.

"Air...i need air..."

"Im sorry...its just...its the first piece of the puzzle" he took the book and sat down.

He turned the pages till he came to an excerpt from a different book.

"Arkus Ingeir is recognised in the hall of records for is kind deeds. He was a man who spent his life dedicated to helping others. He was often seen in the lower districts handing out food or toys to orphaned, sick, or disabled low born children. Arkus Ingeir opened several establishments in his life time with the purpose of helping out the orphaned, sick, and elderly, despite his lifelong battle with...Ingeir's a are genetic disease found only in the Ingeir family. He...lost his battle with...Ingeir's at the...age of 32...before the birth...of his...only son...Eke..." he trailed off at the end. He took a moment before he read the last sentence.

"Arkus...was a rarity among elder dragons and is deeply missed" his eyes went wide.

"Im...im....im..." he couldnt seem to finish his statement out of pure shock.

im not sure theres enough items yet to pull off cosplays for me just yet. but im still having fun with the style

He finally opened the doors. The place was covered wall to wall and rows and rows of books and scrolls.

He looked around. Each painting on the wall had a plaque with a name and a reason it was there.

He stopped by an aisl and looked at the wall. Hanging on the wall was a larger painting of a man who looked...almost exactly like Eke, but his hair was longer and braided. The mans kind eyes were black instead of yellow. The man even lookeed as thin as Eke.

Eke walked to it and read the plaqu aloud.

"Arkus...Ingeir...'Kindest Man We Ever Knew'...I'm..related to him...this is an Ingeir..Quick we need to find the ingeir book with his name in it" he suddenly started looking at the spines frantically.

"Just look for my last name. thats all. every book is part of a family record" he nodded

The walk wasnt long before they came to a huge structure of white stone with marble trim.

In big all capital letters made of gold read "Hall of Records".

"This is it!" he stopped hesitating at the door.

"Just...give me a moment..."

He laughed genuinely and wiped a tear from his eyes.

"You look fine. man your such a baby sometimes" he grinned and kept walking.

"Were already in the Capital so we just need to find the hall of record. Its a special place. Alle the alpha and elder dragon family trees are recorded and kept there. There are paintings of certain alphas and elders that have done extraordinary things or been extraordinary people in life. And ive here that are golden statues of the king and queen inside. Its the best place to find answers" he nodded.

"So...going for a green or white dragon huh?" he smirked.

"I knew we'd end up drifting some. I was a kid when we met" he crossed his arms and started walking.

"I say white or green because dragons are usually the same color as their hair or eyes...except me. im...a black dragon so...yeah." he rolled his eyes.

After a long silent walk they came to a grand golden and marble gate with four guards standing on each side. "Welcome to dragon country."

with that he walked through.

He stopped and just hugged him tears in his eyes.

"I remember how we met. i thought if i shared my candies youd cheer up."

he held ryker tightly.

"I know im more independent now, but i still need you. and as i get older, and more sick, ill need you still. I just feel like...we arent as close anymore. Im afraid for what i might find...im afraid that im going to wake up and you arent there...or that i dreamt the last 3 years..." he sniffled and let go.

He started walking again falling silent. After an hour he stopped. "You should use the dust now. just think about being a dragon. nothing fancy is needed. horns and reptile eyes will gets you past the gate"

@Deaa: honestly? its been about...a year since i got to hang out with friends not my husband...

I dont have FOMO i KNOW im missing out. I have kids and none of my friends are up very late. People i talk to that go out a lot have more money and time and live far away. i know im missing out. i think i have more frustration from missing out (FFMO) cause im seriously frustrated i dont have the means to do stuff.
