@Lunakiri: Yeah, writing is mostly about execution. Your idea can be old as the hills, but if you approach it from an innovative perspective with your own unique language and style, you can make it as exciting as something fresh.
Or so I'd like to believe. XD
That poem is solid, and I feel like I have an idea why you like it so much. Unlike the others, it's melancholy instead of dark and has a hopeful ring to it.
