Yeah, Ami was always my favorite as well. There was just something about her personality that was so endearing. And her appearance was adorable.

Oh man! Top 5 is hard, but here goes...
Code Geass - Rewatched it a ton of times. So excited for the third season!
Kuzu no Honkai - Blew me away with its extremely dark take on relationships
Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii - Really sweet. <3
Charlotte - Fast paced "slice of life" with one hell of a freakin' plot twist. o_o
Sword Art Online - I did rewatch it, and it did inspire me. Second season was heartbreaking.
I feel like this is difficult since I feel obligated to mention the classics. Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Dragonball/Z, and of course Yu Yu Hakusho are some of my all-time favorites. Oh, and Elfen Lied too because... yeah. While we're on the subject of blood and gore, Hellsing and Samurai X were pretty freakin' awesome too. An honorable mention would be Detective Conan since the story eps are godlike, but there are so few of them...
I've heard of the Castlevania thing on Netflix and been interested about it. Is it really that good?

@Lunakiri:
Eugene noticed the sudden interest in her surroundings, and her seemingly desperate attempt to change the subject. "Are you scared, Sister?" He narrowed his eyes and no matter where she could look, she would feel his intense gaze fixated on her being.
"I speak of the one who no longer remains," he began to elaborate, but the space around them shifted abruptly and dramatically. "Ah... but it appears our time here is coming to a close. The night is waning, and soon we shall be conscious." His chest heaved with a slight sigh, and beams of light started to shoot through the thick darkness all around them. The floor rippled a few times before the center peeled away to reveal blinding white.
"The Black Dream ends, but of course our conversation can continue in the real world." He stood from the chair as it melted into nothingness, and soon what remained was an endless white. They were two figures alone in the light.
No screens. No flashing imagery. No voices.
"You will wake to one of your favorite meals," he offered a rare smile. "It's the least I can do for you."

My favorite poem... or rather, the only one I've felt anything towards is Charge of the Light Brigade by Alfred, Lord Tennyson. It goes as follows:
I
Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
“Forward, the Light Brigade!
Charge for the guns!” he said.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
II
“Forward, the Light Brigade!”
Was there a man dismayed?
Not though the soldier knew
Someone had blundered.
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
III
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volleyed and thundered;
Stormed at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of hell
Rode the six hundred.
IV
Flashed all their sabres bare,
Flashed as they turned in air
Sabring the gunners there,
Charging an army, while
All the world wondered.
Plunged in the battery-smoke
Right through the line they broke;
Cossack and Russian
Reeled from the sabre stroke
Shattered and sundered.
Then they rode back, but not
Not the six hundred.
V
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon behind them
Volleyed and thundered;
Stormed at with shot and shell,
While horse and hero fell.
They that had fought so well
Came through the jaws of Death,
Back from the mouth of hell,
All that was left of them,
Left of six hundred.
VI
When can their glory fade?
O the wild charge they made!
All the world wondered.
Honour the charge they made!
Honour the Light Brigade,
Noble six hundred!

@Lunakiri:
"Hm, that is right. You did keep a diary, and wrote in it quite often if I recall correctly." He lowered himself as if to sit and the shadows beneath him rose into a chair. "Then what of her?" He asked suddenly while adjusting his glasses. "Do your writings mention her? Do you remember her, Erica?"
Anticipating the confusion that would likely emerge on her face, he clarified: "Not Mother."

Eugene looked her in the eye then, and for a moment grew gravely serious. The indigo energy crackling around his arm began to seep into his skin and vanish completely, but there didn't appear to be any adverse effects. "Tell me, dear Sister. How much of our good Mother do you remember? They are all likely very pleasant memories, correct?"
He smiled, but there was no emotion behind it. "What if I told you that what you remember is a lie? That her time spent with us was a mere experiment...?"
There was an uncomfortable pause after he asked the question, but it was broken by a short chuckle. "Hypothetically speaking, of course. Mother loved us very much, after all, and yet I cannot help but feel that I am missing something. An important detail. A vital fact that she took with her to wherever she may reside at the moment."
He narrowed his gaze, "You understand what I mean, correct? The ability to alter and possibly destroy the mind. Mother possessed such a frightening power, and who knows what else could be achieved through it. Have you ever given thought to her utilizing such a power against us?"

@pixiebuns: Haha, it really is! I just love the story eps, but there is a metric... ton of filler. Like Bleach level filler. XD
Hm, I may check it out then. One of the reasons I haven't rewatched it is actually because of how they changed Sailor Moon's voice about... 13 eps in? My younger self didn't feel it as jarring a change, but now I can't stand the second VA they chose.

@pixiebuns: Yup! They only dubbed like... 2 seasons that I'm aware of, though. I've been trying to watch it subbed, and I've gone through about 750 episodes already. Some may call me a little crazy. >.>
I actually wasn't aware there's a redubbed version. How does that work? Did another studio get the license and release its own version?

@pixiebuns: Ah, yeah. It's so hard to find anime... and especially if it's really old like Sailor Moon, with a ton of eps. My current long-term addiction is Detective Conan.
Finding all 800+ eps has been a nightmare in itself. XD

@Lunakiri:
Eugene tapped a thumb against his lip in thought. "I know all too well, Sister-"
A loud cracking sound erupted from the nearby screen, and bits of the substance splintered off to disintegrate into the twisting shadows around them. The images continued playing despite the deterioration, and the young woman let out a scream that seemingly pierced the veil of the Black Dream. It reverberated throughout the endless space before fading into the myriad of other sounds.
The ground beneath her gave way, then, and she fell into an abyss of her own creation. Her expression was one of horror as she disappeared from sight, and the screen shattered completely into countless particles that lit up the area around them for a brief moment. Erica then watched as Eugene held out a hand and the specks or dust - or whatever the substance was - funneled very quickly into his palm. Indigo sparks ran up his arm and crackled off his shoulder. The shadows then formed a new screen to replace the old.
His hand spasmed a bit as he turned to face Erica, "It appears I will have to learn how to cope and communicate with a broken female heart. It seems my friendship with Kyla will serve a purpose after all."

@pixiebuns: Aww man, Sailor Moon was my childhood! I remember waking up sooo early just to catch it, and Pokemon. XD
I haven't rewatched it yet, but I did try getting into Crystal. It just wasn't the same for me, though. Have you ever seen the Japanese version? There's quite a few differences aside from the voices. There were a few lost eps and scenes.
