I usually throw some things together to see how they turn out. Only a few times was something too horrible that we tossed it.

Yeah, the onions I use are not the strong kind.
Went and got some of the chicken and rice dish that was left over still and added some cheese to it.

My mom likes to make a lot of pasta dishes.

My girls say they don't like onions, but I cook them well enough that they can't even tell and they eat them just fine.
