Blin - Yeah, everywhere might be a bit different since each has different owners and managers.
There's also the different parts of the store: clothing processor, goods processor who does all the toys, gadgets, and books, and sales associate who works out in the front and has to pull the outdated tags every so often so we can send them to a different store to try their luck there.
But best of luck with the driving!

I've seen some cool themed clothes - Like Harry Potter hoodies, star wars shirts, several themed costumes which will be good for Halloween.
I've also seen some cool designed clothing and stuff that I wished was in my size.
And today, I have seen a cool print of a bunch of keys. It was on a skirt.

Thanks, Total! ^_^

Yeah, it does wear me out. And it's only minimum wage three days a week.
But still better than not having any job.
But also, I am going to keep looking for something better.
And thank you! ^_^

Kent - Not always and not in real life at least.

Total - Exactly.

Yeah, seriously. Would be better of them to just put that stuff in the trash.

I managed that go without any zeros.
Unfortunately, Blin seems to have found them all. -hugs-

Yeah, had to toss the whole box. Wasn't even going to bother with it.
There have been some gross donations. I'm thinking "why do you think anyone would want this? Why even send it to us?"
I don't know why people think we want their worn underwear either.

Yikes, indeed! That is a TON of them! -magics them away-

Blin - Yeah, found a dead mouse in one box someone donated. >_<
There also have been a lot of musty smelling clothes too from older people.

@Kent: Reached 20 (+2) steps!

-hugs- All of those zeros are rough.
-sends some luck your way-

Blin - If it smells too much like body odor or animal pee, I don't even go through the bag, I just toss it in bale.
But, no, we do not wash them before hand. Some of the clothes smell good, some could use a bit of a wash.
Should always wash them before hand, just in case.

Any of the "bad" clothing, we toss into garbage bags, tie them, and toss them into a bin for the truck to take to bale.

Yes! The podcasts are great fun to listen to! ^_^

Kent - It's basically making sure there are no holes or stains on them and using the tagging gun, then putting them on hangers and putting those on the Z shaped racks to wheel out. We fill them with 100 pieces of clothing before taking them out. The goal is 8 racks, so 800 pieces of tagged clothing. I'm only up to 700 myself currently.

Kind of. We also have to record the time when we complete a rack of clothes, so I keep seeing what time it is because of that.
Since I am working in the back, I am able to listen to the D&D podcasts on my phone while I work, which helps the time go by without notice too.
