I've never made any online friends from games or twitter because I don't really use them often so idk
but the lasting power of forum friendships is cool
like it's the same crowd that floats around haha

I was never really interested in the medical field
and a lot of my classmates were pre-med
I think a lot of them are becoming doctors now
or they're vets
some are still in school
I think most are like me and moved onto other things after graduation that don't have a thing to do with biology
I don't know what most people are doing because I don't really keep in touch

we've really spread out

e

guess that's why they're profs |D

but things had progressed a lot just in the time from when we started to graduation and it's like you just feel so behind
all the time

always learning I guess

xD that's awesome of him haha

ah see just hearing about research makes me excited

that's so cool! naming species o:

there was this moment in one of my classes when we were talking about the future/graduating and a classmate was worried about jumping into the field of biology without knowing anything and the field changing rapidly
and the professor was like well you have kind of already done that. you didn't know anything when starting university and you've done stuff
made it less intimidating

thinking back
the students in that dev bio class were also very encouraging of me
it was a good little group for that semester

(I mean other than this research/paper thing I loved pretty much every minute of university)

ooo this moth research sounds awesome!
what is he trying to learn about them?

e

I think he was just trying to encourage me because I essentially had a 100% in that class before this final paper lmao
and he knew I was capable

but I just had hurdles I couldn't get past

e

it was weird because in the bio department everyone referred to each other with first names
but then outside our school when I had to take other classes for general education it was back to formal prof (last name)

another instance of me just freaking out because I could not figure out how to do something that I did not know how to do

anyway
shout out to him

for basically giving me my degree
