I needed to go to the pet store to get meh kitties some more food. The pet store I go to works with the local Humane Society so they have rescues of all sorts there and one of them was this sweet little bird. It was definitely a type of Poicephalus parrot, but I'm not sure which one. His name was Lemon Drop. He was friendly and he kept waving at people with one of his little feet. He'd come up to the glass door of his case and do little dances. There was a small gap between the door and the walls and if you stuck your finger there he'd come up to it and lick it. I got a lot of kisses from him (I'm not sure if it's because I had eaten salty chips before going in and he was just licking the salt off or if he really did just want to give people kisses). He was just so precious! If I had the money and if my youngest cat wasn't such a killer I would have adopted him. I just don't have the money to buy the cage and all the accessories that are needed to take of birds. It really broke my heart having to leave. I really hope someone comes and adopts him who is willing to play with him and give him all that attention he obviously needs and craves.
I'm really half tempted to go back to the store and get him, but I think it's closed now and there is still the issue of money.

@Lady Luna: I think I was around that when I left. And I connected it to my Google account so I think if I did get back into it I'd be able get my old account back. (hopefully)

I was wondering if some tinkering was happening to the site. :o

@Lady Luna: Ah, so the gifts are different than the regular drops.

@Lady Luna: Only 100 feet(or yards)? Yipes. That kind of makes it pointless because the country exclusive Pokemon are really the only things people really need a trade system for. Rares may be hard to find, but you can still find and catch them if they are in your country. Eh, I always got poor drops from Pokestops. Even if that was possible the drop rates for exclusives would most likely be very low. I hardly even got any Pokeballs from them which just made it that much more difficult to catch the Pokemon.
I'm hoping that Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee might help a bit with the country exclusive business since it's already been confirmed you can transfer Pokemon between the two.
I did enjoy the customization of the trainer in Pokemon Go and hear that they also added some new clothes awhile ago?

@Unicorn: Sort of a cross country trip. I'm going to Virginia and Washington DC plus some other places. Mainly going to DC for good food since I saw a lot of the sights already.

@Lady Luna: Well, this will definitely make completing that Pokedex easier since a lot of Pokemon are country exclusive. (not everyone has the money to drop on expensive plane tickets to fly to a different country just to catch an exclusive Pokemon)
The problem is I deleted the app from my phone ages ago. For multiple reasons. Though with Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee coming out this year I have been mildly tempted to download it again just so I can connect between the two. Mildly.

...Um, I might add a few things that have been happening to me if that is okay since it's already been brought up.
I'm not having the issues Neko has been having, but I have been getting the feeling something is a little off with site right now. It's lagging more than usual or pages don't load. Some images around the site have been broken and I have to refresh to get them to show. (item images and people's avatar images) I've also been getting some errors every once in awhile.
My internet is stable and I have a full connection and the issues still occur even after I clear my history and cache and this was kind of long shot, but I also tried restarting my computer so I don't know if something might be going on on Voltra's end.

@Unicorn: That's good to hear.
I've just been prepping for my trip next week and trying to kick away all the stress and anxiety I have been feeling, but I'm doing okay overall.

How is everything?

@Totalanimefan: I checked all those places out on google and they all look great. I think I might have to schedule another trip in the future so I can visit all of them. All of them are also pretty close to my hotel, within walking distance. I'm definitely going to check out Farmers and Distillery and Baked and Wired on this trip.
