@Cookie: Don't try to laugh this off. I know the truth. Aaaand I do have a few Bernard-related items in mind. Stay tuned.
@Raxton: His name is actually Vbernard. The V is silent, so people tend spell his name phonetically. Little known fact.
@Tuijp: I wouldn't expect anything less. He has servants of valor.

Gear to protect us? ....Okay, I'm willing to help. But just as a reminder, a few days ago Virgil was selling handguns in his "Joyful Jamboree" shop. Might want to ask him where he put the leftover stock.

Damn, my husband reads them aaalll the time. It floors me when he says some of his favorite series are around 1000 chapters long. I can always tell when they've been updated, too, because he'll sit in the living room in dead silence, just reading on his phone.
Ah well, glad he's got a thing :vanora_embarrassed:

I love listening to horror accounts on Youtube while I'm working. Figured I'd ask you guys for your scary memories.
Preferably real life accounts, not dreams. Also try to include a TL;DR at the end if you think your story is a little long.
Here's my own to get us started:
Back in the day, I fabricated an entirely new persona to talk to people online. Online weirdos can't stalk a person that isn't real, after all. I changed everything about myself- age, location, gender, etc. In life, I was a 13 year old girl. On the internet, I was Aaron, a 14 year old boy from Tennessee. Committed to it 100% or else people would get suspicious.
Buuuuttt I was still a dumbass kid with unsupervised access to the internet. I ended up making some friends and giving out my IM account and phone number (still pretending to be this made-up identity). I was up until about 2 AM one night, goofing off and chatting on the phone to one of my buddies, when I got a call from an unknown number. Put my buddy on hold to answer.
It was this really, really deep and breathy male voice. At first he was just breathing into the phone and making loud gulping sounds, but then he asked, "Is this Aaron?" I quickly replied, "No." and hung up. I can't remember if he called back, but I was thoroughly freaked out to the point where I began withdrawing from my online persona and going dark for a few years.
TL;DR: I pretended to be someone else on the internet and some creep I didn't know called me and asked for me by my fake name.
So there. My creepiest memory. What's yours?

Accents can be hard to display in text. While reading the event stories, the way Velvet was written made me think she had one. I can't decide if it's more of a deep Louisiana kind of twang like Tiana from Princess and the Frog, or a transatlantic accent like Rarity from the My Little Pony cartoon?
Do the other characters have accents?

Man I hacked the shit out of ACNL back when homebrew still worked on the 3DS. I could get all my perfect villagers, arrange their homes exactly how I liked, and add in village items like the windmill and police station. It was a lot of power and it was AWESOME. I miss it. Easily put 1000+ hours into that game (and every AC game, honestly).
Still hoping they'll come out with a new AC for the Switch. I can't wait to waste my life on it.

@Eruca: This beetle :bernard_happy: He's the main character in Voltra's lineup of characters.
@Miss Kitty: WE DO NEED ONE. THERE'S ITEMS FOR THE OTHER CHARACTERS BUT NONE FOR BERNARD? I'm calling the police.

@Shamrock Shamus: I did a quick search. The glasses for adults (assuming you're an adult) is about $350. Not too bad, but a pretty penny. Then I looked up to see if it would work for tritanopia, since most of the selling points for them mention red-green color blindness.
Here's a link to the test results they have on people with tritan. TL;DR: It's not aimed at tritan, so it's not terribly effective. They do say if you want to give it a try, buy them, and they don't work, you can return them for a full refund.
It would be awesome if they did work and those irritating people ask you "Derrr can you see this?? *holds up orange*" then you can say "Hang on, let me put on my glasses... yeah, it looks like fuck you."

What I was really worried about was Bernard's well-being during the blackout. I'm relieved he's okay :bernard_happy:

Haha I'm sure they're having a horrible argument but the first idea that came to mind was for you to walk around casually screaming out your schedule for the day. Like, at the top of your lungs. Really commit.
"GONNA WAIT FOR MY PARCEL. HOPE THEY GET HERE SOON. BEEN UP SINCE 7:45 AND HOPE THEY DON'T JUST DRIVE BY THE BUILDING WITHOUT DROPPING IT OFF."

Have you ever wanted to try those color correction glasses for colorblind people? I'm not sure how much they go for, but the videos of people trying them for the first time are really fascinating.

Aaaaww sheeeeiit I need to read this. There's so much emotion in your characters' faces that makes it perfect for a graphic novel. Too many have either too little emotion or too cartoonish, but you've found a nice medium. The posing is dynamic as well- it's clear you're unafraid of difficult angles. Good luck with hashing out those storylines!
