@Miss Kitty: That does count, yes. I am sufficiently sickened.
@Alexis: I like sushi, too, but never had sea urchin before. Actually didn't know you could eat them. They must be good?
@FuuChan: Are you a fan of indian food? Spice is life.
@Schye: That... actually sounds kind of interesting. Salty, tangy, and sweet.
@Theory: Look at you, eating ingredients like a skyrim character. Black olives are fucking amazing, though. I may or may not be guilty of emptying a can in one sitting.
@Raxton: I have never heard of that before and just did a quick google search. That is one of the weirdest foods I've ever seen. You win. Thread is closed.

@Apollo Im Burning: A burn ban, huh? That sucks, really. My favorite part of camping is the fire. In that case, pre-cook any food you want to have so you're not living off of granola. Take a can opener if you take canned foods. Try to avoid using styrofoam anythings because bits can break off and hurt the wildlife. Some camping grounds will charge you if you don't clean up after yourself well enough.
Since there's no fire allowed, if I were you I'd buy a bunch of glowstick products for a bit of light at night.

@Mousy: 3 parapros in 4 years? That is honestly impressive. Soon you'll have retirement age teachers lining up round the block to be your partner just because they heard the rumor.

@Adore: That's not too strange. Calamari is delicious.
@Shamrock Shamus: Mustard as in... spicy brown mustard?

I grew up in the deep south where boiled peanuts were a community favorite at every event, especially football games. It wasn't until I moved to the northeast that I learned that not everyone liked them... or even knew about them.
I could eat 'em all damn day, though.
What's your strange food?

@Vontell: Speak to the regular. We're already here and can meet up with Velvet later to share what we've found.

@Apollo Im Burning: Take pepper spray. I'm sure you know the basic camping protocols like douse your fire and hang your trash, but no one ever seems to mention personal safety. Pepper spray is discreet, effective, non-lethal defense against aggressive people and wildlife. Just be sure you know how to use it ahead of time.

@Vontelle: Visit the cafe. Cover your basic grounds before bringing in new folks.

You people and your wholesome childhood dreams.
I just wanted to grow up because I was terrified of Peter Pan. Didn't care what I'd end up doing.

@Q t e a p o n: Nice, an Essex accent. That really fits and helps paint a clear picture.
