Just came across my first shiny pokemon in scarlett. A shiny Lechonk.

Kind of hopping around the game to different areas so far, defeated a few gyms, add two of the titan pokemon. Right now im just kind of wandering around trying to fill my pokedex.

Im liking that theyre not forcing you to battle other trainers as you come across them. Its nice being able to choose if you want to battle them now or not.

Im enjoying the game so far, i do like that theres three different story lines in the game that you can do, im hoping that'll make for a longer game.

Im doing the gym leaders first, taking my time between them to fill my pokedex as im going.

So, i finally got a chance to play scarlett today , the games alright so far. But im stuck down a cliff surrounded by water and cant get back up it. How the heck do i get unstuck?

Its now been six days since my knee surgery. Been doing a little better the last day or two, which is good. Im still quite bored. Only so many movies i can watch at a time. I Spend some time watching the fish in my mothers fish tank, which passes a few minutes.

Asked my sister if she could bring me my Nintendo switch when she comes for Thanksgiving. And i did order a copy of pokemon scarlet to come to my mothers house, even though I probably shouldnt be spending extra money on things like that right now, but i figure that should keep me entertained for a good bit.

Is it weird that i miss my houseplants almost as much as my cat?

Talked to my sister on the phone for a little bit earlier and i could hear my cat yelling in the background, she sounded so upset. I hope she doesn't think i abandoned her.

I honestly dont know if id sue anybody, but im thinking i should try and see if i can at least get the hospital bills covered. I dont know what im going to do otherwise really. I cant really afford to be off work for as long as i will be.

Not to mention im a little depressed because i wont get to see my cat for quite awhile. Staying at my mothers while i heal. Cant take my cat here either because my brothers dog isnt good with cats

Well, i've had a heck of a time the last few days here. Was on my way to work monday, well, i was trying to advoid a large patch of ice only to find more ice. Slipped and ended up doing a good bit of damage to my knee. Cracked part of the knee cap and tore a tendon off my knee. Ended up having to have surgery done to repair some of the damage.

Come to find out later that apparently the ice i slipped on was from some idiot that had their sprinklers going over the weekend.

So now im stuck in a chair for the most part and most likely it will be a few months before i could possibly think about going back to work.

Long story short, im bored with not much to do, anyone around to chat?

The weather just can't make up its mind the last few days. Yesterday it was sunny and 83° out and now today its only a high of 50° and cloudy.

So gloomy today. So today is a stay inside and clean the house day today.

My day was pretty decent. Just got home from work. Work went by quick today it seemed like, could have been just how busy we were though. Was a big discount day at work today so it was a little crazy for awhile.

I have had too much caffeine today. I should be tired this time of night usually. But nope. Not tired yet.

If anyone's looking for a relatively simple recipe I have one, my moms recipe for rice pilaf. Bit time consuming though.

I don't make this terribly often just because it's kind of time consuming and probably not the healthiest but it's good.

Ingredients:
-1/2c to 1 cup of rice, uncooked
-1 stick of butter, can use half if it's too much
- whatever vegetables you want to use, I usually use Shredded carrot, Celery, and onion
-1 box of chicken or vegetable broth
- whatever meat you want to throw in, I usually do
cooked chicken or smoked sausage. Haven't tried it but I'm sure tofu would work well in this recipe for those that don't eat meat

Directions
1. Melt butter in pan and add your uncooked rice, toast until its a nice golden color

2. Add in your vegetables, cook for a bit more
3. Add your broth, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally
4. Reduce heat slightly and let simmer, stirring occasionally, add in meat & whatever seasonings you want to use about halfway through cooking; continue to simmer until rice is cooked. Depending on how much rice you used you may have to add a smidge more broth or water occasionally

I also like to throw in a handful or two of Shredded cheese once it's done but you can leave that out if you want to.

I got the update downloaded last night. Played for a little bit. Got Brewster coming and then spent the rest of my time demolishing a cliff to make room for all the new crops you can grow.

With the update and dlc I may start playing Animal crossing more often

Evening everyone. How's everyone's day been?

My day was alright. Work was busy, went by somewhat quick. Hung out at the neighbors house for a bit after work.

Had a cat follow me home and into my house. That was interesting. Possible storms tonight so he's currently shut in my downstairs bath room for the night. Going to call the vet tomorrow to see if anyone's missing a cat or if he has a microchip. No collar but he seems pretty friendly.
