I was talking about feeling old. So I called myself a dinosaur vampire.
Only it autocorrected me to “dollar store vampire” instead. XD;;;
Hence, why you’ll occasionally see that floating around on my sig or profile. :p

Yeah, sometimes it can be a bit challenging to go outside of one's preferred style.

My sleep schedule is absolutely jacked.
I work a very long night shift, anywhere from 12 to 16. (12 being standard, and anything over being OT.)
But since life so far caters to the living and not the undead, I have to do a lot of things during normal business hours.
So on my work days, I sleep during the day.
My days off, I sleep at night. That way I can get stuff like banking, doctor's appointments, and other human stuff done. XD

A lot of mainstream stores like Target or something like TV Maxx usually have interesting things for a bit less.
A lot of pieces can be found that look old, but have newer components, like wiring in the case of lamps.
A lot of the pieces seen in thrift stores may not have been used for a while.
If you find a lamp you like but it's in rough shape, they do sell ready-made kits that include all the bits to replace the wiring.
Just be careful, is all.
