@vengeance: They really do. Like I would say they're just as loving as dogs. They just show it differently.
@star2000shadow: Oh my goodness. You are too kind. Thank you so much. There are so many people out in this world that would make me try to feel bad about my feelings towards my trauma by saying it's "not as bad" as yours and that "other people have it worse." And I freaking hate that...I already have depression and am hard enough on myself...I don't need other people making me feel guilty for my feelings. :/

@vengeance: Three of them (the fourth has to stay in the basement since she doesn't get along with the other cats unforuntely) came to check on me when I was just lying down in bed Wednesday afternoon/evening trying to deal with the trauma.
So yeah, anyone who says cats don't care about their humans/aren't loving are totally wrong if you ask me

@tsundererra: I mean she's not a bad therapist or anything, but I swear all therapists are like "don't avoid thinking about things that give you anxiety, it will only make things worse."
Well yeah...says the person who DOESN'T have to deal with the thoughts that are either anxiety provoking or traumatic...and who doesn't haven't to deal with them not just inside therapy, but outside of therapy (when there's no therapist to help) as well. Like this experience has even kept me up the past few nights. I already suffer from severe anxiety and depression to begin with, so having to face one of my biggest anxiety-provoking situations and having a bad experience with it. (Like if I were to rate the anxiety before and after the experience, it would be 100% both times.) doesn't help at all.
@star2000shadow: Dang...that sounds terrible...I can't even imagine how it could be worse...if I'm being honest though, I'm not doing so well at all. I'm still trying to recover from an experience that was traumatic for me from Wednesday. But after hearing your situation, I feel bad about still being traumatized about my experience. :/

@Tsundererra: Thank you so much. I actually did talk to my therapist about it yesterday during my appointment with her, since I struggle with anxiety and depression. But her advice wasn't that helpful. She was trying to tell me to not avoid thinking about the situation, but it only triggers me more if I do, or think of anything remotely related to it.
Friday hasn't been too bad though. Thanks. I'm just, still recovering so it hasn't been great.
