@taemins lover: That's a sticky situation, it's nice to be able to go home and spend some time with friends and family, but money is also essential.
Our facility residentially doesn't close, a lot of our clients family has/have either passed, gave up rights or straight up don't show.

My first day back to work was hellish and the new staff they have back there is not going to last, and I have this gut feeling that I can't trust her.
Ugh. I hate this.

I commend you, I worked holidays with some of my clients last year and it was a humbling experience.
I learned that I take a lot for granted.

@burntcicle: Thank you, I love the job, been doing it for almost two years now, it can just be emotionally draining.

@burntcicle: I work with adults with disabilities as a direct care staff/ support professional. I now work day program, but when I was working residential there were times that you could be stuck on several shifts in a row, with no break.

@taemins lover: You are a brave soul. Do you work somewhere that will be swamp due to sales?

@totalanimefan: Me too! It's funny, I'll be making an avatar and I'll be like , " okay need glove for left hand" , flip to the stores and realize Voltra is brand new. I've never been on a site from the start so it's an experience.
