@hazbin: That's ok.... I remember coming home and watching those shows after school or weekends or summertime. I watched other stuff as well like Aeon FLux, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, South Park, and this one anime that I can't rermemeber the name of, but it had a boy who found a girl that had amnesia and that is all I can remember, lol.(It was late at night on the cartoon network and I was half asleep when I'd watch it.... kinda like I was when watching Red Dwarf on PBS late at night.)

Congrats! We waited almost a 4 months for my sons new dresser and nightstand to come. they kept pushing it back. Ordered it in June and said July it would be delivered.... then they pushed it back to March of next year.... but then in Sept got a call saying they got it in stock and could deliver in the next few days so that was cool.

Wisconsin can't make up it's mind. It's nice out during the day(not swimming weather, 70 deg with a small chill, but still nice) and it's a good 40 50 deg in the morning when I wake up. I like it.... least it's not unbearablt hot and humid out.

My uncle used to make this Mayonise cake(it's what he called it) and it was a heavy rich chocolate cake that had marchino cherries and sliver of almonds in it..... it was sooooo good, served with a scoop of vanillia ice cream topped it off. Unfortnatly he didn't like sharing his recipes so when he passed most of his recipes went with him.(He was a cook and didn't have many recipes written down.... they were all in his head.)

My fav festivises is Christmas.... so many good memories of family setting up the tree, pine scents and cinnomon smells, family from everywhere coming to the house.... now due to covid and family dwindling down and certain family members being butts, it's still my fav time, but not as much.

This looks like a fun event. Hopefully I can get on for it and won't lurk as much.

This is a neat thread! :) I love the Anita Blake Novels by Laurell K. Hamilton. I am currently reading The Witching Hour by Anne Rice(It's a Triliogy), and trying to get into a book a friend of mine told me about called Dark Lover(The Black Dagger Brotherhood) by J.R. Ward but havong trouble getting into it.
