Tbh I want to use the "0 friends" one as a joke but I'm afraid it'd hurt peoples' feelings idk. xD
You already have a Blackout Survivor button right? I can't remember :C But badges like Alpha / Beta / Blackout might be cool idk? c:

Aw man, we were living in a dinky little trailer prior to/while fixing up the house we're in now and monsoon season was SO NERVE WRACKING. Can't tell you how many times I thought the whole trailer was just going to tip over. Never did, though, and I'm forever thankful lol.
Hopefully it's blown over by now and you're able to breathe a bit easier. c: (And hopefully the house is okay!)
free shortcut to the gas station?

Yikes. I'm sorry you had to drop everything and GTFO, but hopefully things are better for you now.
I actually consider this quite often--if I had 30 seconds to grab something and go, what would I take? Probably my laptop. My Playstation technically means more (sorry Rasputin) to me BUT the laptop can do more lol. I'd be sad about losing all my books and sketchbooks too; that's basically an entire story in those books. The story of your art journey. The story of your imagination. The story of your heart. So many memories!
I'm sorry your current BF brushed off your concerns so lightly. It may seem contrite to him but I can guarantee he'd feel the same way were it something important to him. Maybe once you have them back in your possession, he'll see the effect they have on you and appreciate them a bit more. c:

I can't claim to be a devoted fan but I have nothing but respect for her. A very sad time indeed. May she rest in peace. <3

Depends on how lazy I am tbh. Often I'll go all-out and use the electric kettle and do it the 'proper' way. Our kettle is pretty quick, but rinsing out and filling can be tedious.
But when I'm really lazy and don't want to wait, I'll pop a mug of water in the microwave with the teabag already in it--using a little less water than usual--zap it until it boils, add my milk and sugar, and voilá!

Thanks to Hollywood romanticism and a wandering imagination, I always fantasized about life in other time periods--namely places like Ancient Egypt, Rome, the British Isles, etc.
But it's never lost on me how amazing it is that we can turn on a PlayStation or Xbox and, within 30 seconds, have games or movies or TV shows at our fingertips; or carry terabytes worth of data around on a laptop. Like y'all I remember when 128MB was big. We hold fire and light in the palm of our hand, fly high in the sky and swim deep beneath the seas without much of a second thought.
On the one hand, my heart yearns to know history the way it really was; to lay eyes upon the pyramids wrapped in white and gold, or to walk through the bustling marketplaces of Ancient Rome. But on the other hand it's amazing to live in a world where the science fiction of the previous century is becoming reality. Smartphones and tablets are something right out of Star Trek! Smart Homes emulate an AI assistant. Autonomous cars are becoming more practical. The future has crept up on us and continues to do so.
Tesla would be awestruck at our technology but also like "wtf, you guys are still using coal / fossil fuels? What a bunch of scrubs."
Anyway thank you for coming to my Ted Talk, have a pleasant day Volties!
