@AelloTyphoeus: I've done recolors for cae[until i dropped as that job]
and i recolor for voltra.
though i feel it's easier to to grayscale and then recolor.
//shrugs

though i think doing grayscale makes it easier to see contrast.
but maybe that is just me.

though not for my mushroom fairy.

I rather just use greyscale first and then recolor.

@AelloTyphoeus: you mean grayscale?
gray scale helps you see what needs more contrast/lighting.
Like I know to fill out the base of the clothing by pixel.
but after that I am just like "What do I do now??"

A friend linked a tutorial video on cae. but it still confuses me haha.
Like i get it but i also don't??

A lot of people suggest that though and I am like "I WANNA BE DIFFERENT."
i just like to be very out there.
though my original ideas was to have vines on arms and legs with roses on them.
rose are hard to draw though. D:

Yeah same.
The most I feel the sweet cakes would be worth is 6k.
Not 12-14k+

I mean the site has only been in beta for 8 DAYS.

I just am a little lost what to do first.
so am just looking up coloring tutorials.
I have a bunch on my faves on DA.

@AelloTyphoeus: vines are very hard to pixel/draw lol.
I don't want to do typical fairy stuff though.
i'll come up with something eventually.

@AelloTyphoeus: i can shade sort of but never cg work.
idk i'm bad at it. but i don't want people to shade it for me.
cause i'll never learn that way if people do things for me.

I've never colored my art before and I've only ever done pixel art but tooling is more similar to coloring your cg work
so that makes it like 10x worse...
I'm trying to find what works for me but idk man.
