I'm planning to buy Proko's book since many other anatomy books
can be very confusing for me.

@Shadami: Soon they will be coming out with an anatomy book as well.
I find Proko's way of gesture drawing is easiest for me to understand.

@MamaNights: I'm well, just working on some artwork.

@Shadami: Everyone has different styles.
Not one style is really the same.
You just draw how you draw. every person has different taste.

Sounds like a plan.
If you struggle with anatomy though i suggest watching proko's youtube videos.

@Mamanights: Welcome!
How are you?

Yeah it's never good to rip off someone or be second rate of that artist.
I like so many styles, and your style is growing in the Background too.

I am easily frustrated. and have bad focus. and depression zaps my energy.
so i don't draw everyday like i hope. but maybe this year i can at least
finish a handful of projects. I save a lot of those drawinyoursyle to challenge myself.

but first hands. need to get those down.

Youtube can pretty much teach you anything.

@Shadami: Yes, they're all youtube videos.
I follow many people who make good videos for beginners and overall just advice
to fellow artists.

@Shadami: do what makes you happy.
I am like iffy on my art.

latest piece i am very happy with it, but i still need to fix a lot.
I still struggle drawing hands majorly, so that is my goal.

Though I have over 400 art videos to watch.
But i know a lot of them are super helpful.

@Shadami: Sometimes, programs have texture brushes.
I've had Photoshop CS6 for a while so I use that.
but other programs through apple store like those who use ipad pro
and use pro create, there are TONS of texture brushes that can help make textures in art.

I am aiming for semi-realism, and just trying to keep up with as much of my fundamentals as I can.
Value I very much lack in, but i feel doing value studies and studies in general will help me so much.

@shadami: No, I am a digital artist/can't afford to buy art supplies.

But in digital art you gotta make all of the textures and everything.
But blending has been a huge road block for me that i've wanted to learn.
for months now.

@Shadami: Yup. sometimes you just need to sleep hard.
I've been sleeping so hard lately. I wake up and I am just like "where am I??" XD

But yeah i feel good enough today that i am even doing laundry.
So that's improvement.
And going to do some art if I can.
I am so close to figuring out blending, and it'a making me super excited.

@Shadami: I feel a lot better today.
Just have a stomach ache.
Still a little tired, but not as exhausted as i was yesterday.

So I am getting better. it just takes some time.

@Shadami: I just never get sick that often.
Which is probably a good thing but having a bad schedule can put your immune system
at risk for getting sick. so that probably is what did it for me tbh.

Yeah. it's more like $1000,2000.
But even paying around $300 is too much. I am unemployed, my dad does not get paid
well and my grandmother is dealing with my grandfather's medical appointments so it's still inconvenient

I've been doing art but it's just...hard to stay focus and not
feel drained after just doing some practice blending. :vanora_sweat:

Yeah, they're ridiculously expensive.
And I don't feel going to the doctors, get charged a lot of money just so they can tell me
what i already know, which is your sick lol.

I also have many relatives who are pretty good in the medical field.
But i am in the best care and all I can do is rest, as that is what my body needs.
and taking medicine so i'm doing all i can to get better.

I am normally out for 2 months when I get sick BUT i do not really get sick often.
last time i got sick was 2 almost 3 years ago.

when they bill us.

Wish i had more energy to work on art.
Did art for maybe.. 10 minutes and it exhausted me. :vanora_sick:
