I listened to mostly K-pop music while cooking dinner which was dumplings with rice and stir fry.
Then I watched some variety shows of K-pop groups.

@Priestess of Pie: Yup. the hands are coming out great though.
I just broke em down into simpler shapes but the still look like hands.

@Priestess of Pie: done a few studies for a couple days in a row now.
today my goal is to draw 18 hands since i've drawn two already.

@Priestess of Pie: im trying to really break out of laziness
so i am trying to just at least do 20 studies a day.
like drawing 20 poses, 20 hands, etc.

It will be my start to start being more consistent with studies.

@Priestess of Pie: im someone who has more breaks than practice tbh.
so now i am like "NO BREAKS FOR A LONG WHILE"

@Hachi: ah. I have the CS6 version.

When i got the first tablet it had no sensitivity so this time
I made sure to look for something and one of my fave artists did a review on it too.
so it helps. It's not super great at times but it at least will get the job done and helping me draw
things I like.

Well I won't be drawing 1000 every single day.
I will take breaks but not several days to weeks.
I rarely draw and practice so it'll be fine.

I have doubt constantly so i kinda never believe anyone would want my art lmao.

@Priestess of Pie: its starting to go away.
Soon i can work on my art practices

@Priestess of Pie: took some medicine.
it'll go away soon. when storms come it just affects me like this.

@kozi: its fine, though i don't actually like tea. :vanora_sweat:

@Hachi: Medibang i feel is better for sketching but it has no texture brushes.
Krita has tons of texture brushes but for me personally it's hard to see the brush
so i can't usually find where it's drawing.

The drawing tablet I use is a huion brand and it does work very well.
In the past I've had a wacom but wacom can be rather expensive.
So i went a more affordable budget type of tablet.

Breaking the rules and even learning them all is hard because the rules are fundamentals like anatomy/proportions, values, color theory, etc.
and I've barely cracked down on learning them all and doing studies on each one. So for me i feel i can't break them until I've at least dabbled
into each fundamental rule at least once. Right now my focus for sure is anatomy/proportions, color[mostly blending though] and value.
I am actually working on a goal of mine. my goal is overkill though. i am making sure i can draw maybe 1000 of each study each month. probably overkill but it'll go towards mileage and memory muscle.

I'm easily burnt out, but its actually to draw when you are not inspired. so I am trying to teach myself that.
Depression of course has other plans all the time, but i feel pushing through my struggles will help me in the long wrong.
my goal for 2019 is just to study and make progress.

i'm honestly someone who can't give anyone art unless it's PERFECT.
though i also doubt anyone would want my art sometimes. :vanora_xd:

@Hachi: im always hopping programs.
between medibang[just for sketching], krita and photoshop CS6.

Yup. I never know until it happens. :vanora_neutral:

Yes it is. But this one is the most affordable one. Most range from $400[huion is pretty affordable too] all the way to $2k.
But displays are more so for people i feel who can produce a lot so it won't be hard to use it or won't be a hard adjustment.

an important rule with art is, if you learn the rules, then you can break them.
so i am trying extra hard so i can do that.
I want to improve on anatomy and everything to get to where i want with my work.

Yeah maybe. I also feel not practicing often is also the problem though.
but i've been doing practices 3-4 days in a row now.
