Grilling, swimming, karaoke and fireworks that I didn’t pay for! Yasssss(I don’t believe in blowing up my own money, but I’ll absolutely watch other people blow up theirs!) 🤣

I hope my little one will be able to enjoy the fireworks this year! We’ve had to spend it inside with the other littles for the past few years because the noise is too scary.

Everybody come over! We’ve had random pop-up storms that don’t even show up on the weather apps every single day this past month.


But when it’s not raining, it’s so hot and humid.

I recently binged Brooklyn 99 on Hulu.
It’s really funny if you start it at the beginning. I saw a few episodes in passing and couldn’t figure out why people liked it so much. If you watch from the first episode, it makes so much more sense. Not that you have to follow along really close, it’s just that there are lots of little jokes sprinkled in that you wouldn’t get unless you’d started earlier.

Another one I loved was unbreakable kimmy Schmidt on Netflix. It’s also a light comedy.

They’re both like potato chips for the brain. Haha!


I’m not a big fan of dramas. So I watch anything light hearted and silly.

I’m so excited to see the end result! How fun!!

@tuijp: haha! I thought they did such a good job with Luna though! This whole game has exceeded my expectations.

I seriously thought I’d just be gathering ingredients or something idk. Idk what I thought.

@monorea: I actually really enjoyed both vehicles! The car made me feel cool and it looked really nice. The truck made me feel safer because I was higher up and people think twice about darting in front of a large truck. The truck also had seat warmers. 🤣

My husband’s job required him to haul stuff pretty regularly. So it was nice to have a truck for that.

@kozi: I thought of another situation where I was profiled, but this time it was based on how I looked!

I was trying to buy a mattress and people in furniture stores wouldn’t even acknowledge my existence because I look young and was wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
Sometimes I was the ONLY customer in the store. They basically assumed I didn’t have any money and was just playing around. I wanted a new bed dang it! That would have been a great sale! I wound up buying from a woman who treated me like I was a person as soon as I walked in. I told her that and she was like “look, idk what you’ve got in your pockets! I’m here to make money!” 🤣🤣
