@Tuijp: I would gladly trade all my sun for all your rain if I could. I am not a fan of the sun, or the heat. I swear I can feel my skin sizzling when I'm in the sun too long.

For a long time I would say I would say I was Agnostic. My family was mostly Christian except for one of my grandfathers, who was Atheist. My mom mostly raised me Christian but also taught me to be open, accepting, and knowledgeable of other religions. I considered myself spiritual but didn't have a set belief system, though I was always jealous of people who had strong faith, jo matter their religion.

Earlier this year something happened that made me go in search of something to grasp onto and God was who grabbed me back. I'm not entirely sure I would call myself a Christian in the most basic sense. I have a relationship with God and Jesus, I believe in them and I feel peace when I pray or read scripture. But there are also parts of this religion that I struggle with, ideas that I have that I can't just change.

@Another Movie Addict: I do enjoy rainy weather! But not when it's hot. :p

@Kaderin Triste: Weather hot enough to be a health risk sounds terrifying. I don't do well with any temperature over 80 so I can't imagine your kind of heat.

@Tuijp: We got enough rain to not burn up our small garden but nearly as much as we should have gotten.

@SirLionelNigelConrad: I'm really a fan of temperatures ranging from 40-70, it's in this range I'm most comfortable.

@blinkini: That is a shame! My cat is too old at this point to be mischevious with our screens. Though when her and my fatcat were younger they would try to climb the screens. -__-

And random bit but woohoo for being a December baby! I was browsing the birthday thread and saw yours was the 9th, mine is the 5th.

This is a great guide to have! Definitely going to bookmark the thread for future reference when I donate.

Aha!! I was wondering where that extra little bit came from. I was scratching my head over how I got an odd number after donating. Good to know I wasn't just going senile.

@blinkini: I guess I should clarify that I have actually been on two sites at it's beginning. I didn't bother mentioning them because of them going under so quickly after open, both had the same owner. It was a horrible experience. So much money donated to get it going and then so much drama right off the bat.

I would say that was probably the starting point of my inactivity with avatar sites. After getting burned I was really wary of where I went or how invested I got.

This past week we've been slowly getting cooler temperatures. In a week we've gone from highs of mid 90s to low 80s. Morning temperatures of 50-60. So today I am taking advantage of the cooler temp and opening up ALL OF MY WINDOWS. There is nothing better than that cool fresh air.

It won't last too much longer before we start going back up. We'll have another month and a half of warm weather. :vanora_cry:

@blinkini: I'm hoping I will be like that too. It was nice having something like that before, something that I looked forward to. Not that, I don't look forward to other things... obviously, haha... I definitely look forward to my morning cup of coffee.

I'm glad I was at least able to come in on Beta. I've never really been on a site in it's earlier stages, only when it's been more established. Gaia had been a few years, so had Ernya, Roliana had been a few months... but now, I'm excited to see what is coming for Voltra.

@Kjemi: That's what I'm mostly left with too, how they made me feel. There are times if I really try hard, I can remember the dream for a day, then really big details for a week. But the only dreams I can remember in the long run are the reoccurring dreams and that's probably because I've had them for so long.

@blinkini: It's a shame really, they had something great going with Ernya. It was all I read about even when I went to other sites.

I've really enjoyed my time here so far, though only being a day isn't a testament to the long term. But I do keep finding myself back here when I get free time, so that says a little something.
