i feel like there's definitely a lot more competition/variety with freelance nowadays
social media has its pros and cons like being more accessible but then the damn algorithm
@xvz: day job is design, my personal "work" is my webcomic and then the other stuff i doodle/draw to procrastinate on that is... just fanart LOL
also ye i don't really think people sell their stuff second-hand, like personally i only buy things when i need them for avatars and just keep 'em there

it's scattered around, i'm mostly on twitter because a ton of jp artists and fandom are on there and i dump my art on tumblr... my insta is mostly my inktober archive but i was thinking of getting on that more but so much effort. also yes the algorithm sucks ass on all of these damn platforms UGHHH there's no real good discoverability anymore
oh and i have my pixiv too but that's just huge artdumps
