We have too many family members so we tend to stay home instead of dealing with the fighting of which one should we go too. I gave up a long time ago. Lol

I kinda know the feeling of not having family around but it didn't last long. I moved in with my hubs like eight years ago but when I had kiddo they all moved up to be closer to us Lmao My mom was super excited just cause it meant she got to spoil him... Like overly so... *^*

@Totalanimefan: Yeah, it's been a long busy journey that's for sure. We're doing ALL the work but we've had a bit of help with the sheets of drywall by his friends cause I have weak noodles for arms. XD It costs way too much to afford to hire help so it wasn't feasible for us. *^*;

@Totalanimefan: We're doing the majority of the upstairs, a full remodel with new insulation and wiring. Got to finish the ceiling in one room, paint the other room, then the hallway and bathroom. *^*;; It's a pretty big remodel since it's an old victorian, one of the first in our area during the dust bowl so needs a huge update on some things. Living in the house and trying to get it done is the biggest issue we face. We've been staying in the bottom half and having one room cleared out to do the remodel work. I'm hoping to get it done, painted and us up there by the end of the month. (I hope) XD Cause it doesn't help that I have huge issues with allergies.

@Totalanimefan: Yeah, I would but with how much she eats we'd have to bulk buy for it to make a difference and it's difficult when you have a tight budget. Once we finish our remodel it won't be so tight to do so I might talk to my hubs about that for later... *^*;

@Totalanimefan: Oh, no worries there. I need a few things, like dog food for the puppers and sugar for my tea but it's up to him if he does. Cause I'm too sick to walk up there. XD I think we'll be fine there. Our little town hasn't gone too crazy, thankfully.

@Totalanimefan: Oh, I would if I did! *^* But sadly, nope. We don't get treats like that often, I'll have to talk my hubs into running to the store for me. XD

I'm going pretty well! I'm finally making a dent in my remodel stuff.
I think the only thing that upset me recently was our washer pretty much quit on us. (It's not even 3 years old)
