Every artist has their own unique style and way of creating art. An artist's style doesn't always stay the same, it can change. The more your practice the better you get. Some artists don't care what other people think, but then others are insecure about their work. Matisse's collage looks like he just cut random pieces of paper and put them together which is what he did but not exactly. To me it looks like splattered paint which is really cool, and it looks like he worked hard to get it to be perfect but not too perfect.
One more paragraph
