@totalanimefan:

Yeahhh. My roomie and I have also encountered a lot of sort of, inconvenient aspects. We are watching the Suite Life on and off and always have trouble getting to the episode we actually left off on. "Continue Watching" never brings us to the right episode, but also won't seem to let us access the Series page. I mean, not the end of the world, but could be better. Normally I wouldn't care much but Disney doesn't have much an excuse for little mistakes like that.

I wish people didn't have to feel so alone and hurt. I don't have the right to be truly upset by this, because I barely knew you. I met you in person once, and you were so sweet. I wish I had been online more to get to know you. I know not a fragment of what you were going through, and I'm not nearly as affected by this as your family and closest friends. It's selfish of me, I know. I can't help but think maybe if I had made the effort to reach out and become friends faster, I could have been another ear for you. Not that I am so special to make that much of a wave, but I know how much it can help to have a larger support system. Even a new friend, someone detached enough from a situation. It just breaks my heart that you were going through something so painful, and I hope so dearly that you have found some peace. I hope there's an afterlife, because you deserve so much to be able to exist in some modicum to be able to feel at ease. I hope that the world changes, because people like you deserve to feel just like anyone else, free of those burdens, able to be yourself. The system failed you. As it has failed so many other people. There is only one positive thing to come out of this, and that is renewed vigor in affecting change to make sure this doesn't happen again. Again, I barely knew you, and I have no right to say any of this at all, but, I hope you know that you are special, and made an effect on my life in the short time I spoke to you. A friend of a friend is a friend of mine. So rest well, friend.

Your being scared of the walking guy resonates with me. For some reason I was afraid of our neighbor when he'd be out front like, you know, just tending to his front yard like a normal human being. But he always /looked/ mad and I was afraid that I would upset him by being rowdy near his front yard. I remember always being told not to step on his grass, lol. (We didn't have fences separating our front yards, so they blended into each other)
Years later I realized he was actually just a nice person who likes to keep his yard prim. I can relate, we all got OCD to some degree.

I was really afraid specifically of Jaws on the Universal Studio tram ride/tour. If you're not familiar, you drive through Amity and over a bridge and an animatronic shark LEAPS out at one side of the tram... The side I was on, and right in front of me specifically. Forever scarred.

I see in your quest page you're looking for Unique long braids. Would you like to trade your Aquarius for my braids?

@koneko: yeah! I kind of love things that sneak up on you to grab audiences it might not normally. Also it's a musical and really well written, haha.

@tsundererra: OH NOOO I hate gore too no thank you

Posted in Get In the Solstice Spirit: Community Goals Posted 5 years ago

yeah nO

That reminds me, I will say, the show Crazy Ex Girlfriend I thought was gonna be super cringey because of the name, but it actually delves into mental health in a cool way (though it takes a few seasons to climax) and actually addresses like the process and getting help etc

Posted in Get In the Solstice Spirit: Community Goals Posted 5 years ago

@koneko: ahhh, perfect. I love me some psychological scary stuff more than like, jump scares n such. Which is why I loved silent hill 2 so so much. That was a fine piece of art.

also yeah, i dont much love horror that focuses too much on mental health. It can be interesting if done right, but most of the time it can be kinda incorrect and cringey.

I only watched the lesbian one San Junipero because my friend made me watch it. It was pretty cool.

I think that might have been the only one that wasn't like "technology is bad"

@koneko: ooh, its a show? totally thought it was a movie. that sounds even cooler. I'm kinda new to the spooky scene because I'm kind of a baby when it comes to certain kinds. Like I am terrified of zombies, haha. But I'll totally check that out!

Posted in Get In the Solstice Spirit: Community Goals Posted 5 years ago

Oh im stupid you said you liked it, so im assuming probably. lol

Posted in Get In the Solstice Spirit: Community Goals Posted 5 years ago

@koneko: that's fair. I have a terrible memory when it comes to books so I end up rereading a lot of the same ones because of it.

Oooh, that sounds spooky. I heard the haunting of hill house was nuts. Would you rec it?

Disney forgot that bi people exist. >:)

Also seriously like, Han took her in and probably saved her life because of it. They had a bond over the ship and a whole like mentor/mentee thing going on. Agreed, makes ABSOLUTE NO sense that she basically doesn't care, especially after finding out that the connection between her and kylo was forged by snopes (snoke, i just call him snopes).
