I've had a cold all week, blah. I'm suffocating in my own snot, and none of the home remedys have helped.
If you have a pho place, I've always found that it's a really good meal to have when you're sick, though.
The steam helps you breathe, it's full of electrolytes and herbs, and it helps you hydrate since it's a broth, plus it's just really tastey.
add lime juice for some extra vitamin c.
Alternatively, sit in a hot shower room in the steam or run a humidifier to help.
Make sure you drink lots of water and use gloss or something to keep your lips from cracking

I was about to gush about how the good thing about my office job is that this never happens
and then i remembered busy season, where i'd sometimes work 9am-10pm 6 days in a row, which isn't any better
