You can't just change the pose of your avatar, but there are items that have different arm and leg mods. There are some items with sitting poses for example and ones like the arm and leg poses on my current avi. The avatar contest is on hold at the moment, but usually you just follow the instructions here to enter~

I've played it! It's been fun so far. I played a bit last night, so my museum is closed today, and tomorrow the cafe will be open. I can't wait to visit it tomorrow. It's a bit overwhelming though, so much to do and collect! And once the Happy Home Paradise DLC is out then I'll have even more to do

We're getting close to the day of the update! I preordered and downloaded the DLC, and I've been playing a bit to get my island ready for the new stuff
