Found online and not a website... Is it something you purchase online?

Well, I was way off with my guesses!

A clue might be nice! I thought of a few more possibilities, but I'm not sure what the best way to narrow it down would be...

Is it a device that connects to the TV?

Is it something that someone would usually pick up and carry around?

Well, I'm lost. I'm not sure what question I should ask next. I shall think some more

I guess a video game controller could also be a possibility. Some have screens, like the Wii U controller

Right now my thoughts are along the lines of an analog clock and a remote control. I'm drawing a blank on technology that isn't in the kitchen and doesn't usually have a screen

Is it something that most people would have more than one of?

Yes, she's a good dog. At least she doesn't have to be with my mother now, although my mother did treat her well at least I guess
