Mine would be eccentrically decorated in bright colours, oranges and greens and bright yellow, with lots of art prints and plants both real and fake, and lush furniture and comfy cushions, with decorative gemstones and statuettes. I've thought about this too much xD

I would always recommend a short hair cut! My hair has been pixie-short for years now, and I love it. It's so freeing. Go for it! If you regret it, it will always grow back.
