@Totalanimefan: England was connected to the Netherlands by a landmass called Dogger Land. This was around the time of the last ice age and as the ice melted the land slowly disappeared until there was only an island left called Dogger Bank. Then at around 6200bc there was a huge glacial landslide in Norway and it sent several tsunamis through the North Atlantic sea, including Britain. Dogger Bank was submerged.

There have been archaeological digs there showing the lives of the people who inhabited it, and there are currently plans to build a wind farm on Dogger Bank. Today it lies about 20 metres below the North Sea.

I am kind of really into it lol.

Weather in general is scary sometimes. My story is about various types of floods, so I'm researching several different types etc.
