@xvz: ooh cabbage, I would love to grow that. We don't have much outside space, like a 5 metre square patch of concrete attached to our flat XD but we grow in pots. And we are looking into getting a mini greenhouse. I have a dwarf citrus tree too, but it hasn't produced any fruit since the first year i got it, about 3 years ago :/ idk what's wrong with it.
Yes they get along very well :) they are two pairs of brothers. Rats are generally a social species and love to live in big groups, the bigger the group the better really. They have the occasional scrap but nothing too serious. Teddy had to get neutered because he was fighting with the others due to hormonal aggression, but the neuter worked for him and he's soft as butter now :)

There were riots in London, outside the US embassy. I'm nowhere near London but just wanted to bring it up because it shows how rapidly this has spread. People are understandably angry and I hope change comes from this.

One of the important aspects of owning rats is making sure they have enough enrichment that can stimulate their natural behaviour. I think they enjoyed it.

@xvz: the plants are outdoors for now, but I will bring them inside around September time. We have quite frosty winters so I don't want them to suffer. What veggies would you like to grow?
They are adorable <3 Teddy is a black hooded, Sonny is a husky, Long John is a champagne and Dewey is a pearl, which is like a creamy grey.

@xvz: you're right, this whole situation is unprecedented :o I'm taking ok care of myself, I actually feel better mentally than I have in a long time!
I got a tomato plant and a bell pepper plant :) I wanna grow yummy veggies :D
I have 4 rats named Long John, Dewey, Teddy and Sonny. I'll be getting 2 babies in a couple of months :)

@LilMissKushy: omg :o baby mice are so tiny. I tried to handrear 2 once, unfortunately they both died.

@Hadassah: exactly xD nothing really inspired it, I like reading Apocalyptic fiction and sci fi etc, and I was annoyed that none of the protagonists were autistic. I just feel there should be more stories about autism, especially in sci fi.

@Priestess of Pie: Rats have terrible vision anyway, and they are also red-green colour blind, and they don't perceive saturation in the same way that we do so basically no, it all looks like varying shades of grey to them. I still love it tho xD
