@SnakeWeaver: Yes, I use FL Studio ($300+ for full version) and I also paid for my plugins ($hundreds+). It's a very expensive hobby unless you're doing, like, chiptunes. :' )

@SnakeWeaver: I really have a long way to go... There's so much I still don't know yet, and so many mistakes I make. But honestly, I don't have any kind of musical training (unless you count high school band) and I don't understand music theory, so I'm as stumped as the next guy.

@SnakeWeaver: It is, honestly. I need to advertise my FR thread more, people really seem to like it. ^^; And it's not that difficult for me to produce the commissions, since I don't have as much anxiety about music as I do with drawing.

@SnakeWeaver: Yeah... Tbh, that's probably my best song in the past few years. In the past 6 months most of what I've made is just piano compositions for people on FR, for $10 or the equivalent. So. :P

@okios: I've definitely heard mixed opinions about developing on iphone vs android, but can provide no actual input myself. xD

(I compose VGMs and I do VGM-style commissions on FR. I've taken a few USD commissions there--I guess I might do that here too, if there proves to be demand for it. ... Actually, we can't do USD comms here, can we?)

I enjoy gaming, drawing, and watching cartoons. I also compose music sometimes--I got a melody stuck in my head earlier today and worked on it a little, actually. It's coming along well but I'm a little stuck on it now. My current fandoms are Transformers, Iron Leaguer, and Pretty Cure.
