my best friend has type 1 diabetes and is 24 so she's been on her stepdad's health insurance
well, her stepdad changed the insurance to high-deductible and now she has to pay out of pocket for the insulin she needs to stay alive on a daily basis. $1200/month
she already had plans to get married this October so her and her fiance just decided to get the actual marriage done today and then they'll have the party as planned later. this way, she can get on her fiance's health insurance.
she wants to keep it secret so her family still thinks october is the special day
i'm the only one going to her secret wedding and i am so excited! what a wild day this will be.
