yeah I am getting a house with my best friend soon and NO MORE RULES.

Hmm, he's still young so it might still be okay? Just introduce the new kitty slowly, keep it in a separate room and let your current cat be acclimated with the smell of him before they interact.

when I bought miu home to my mom's house, however, the tiny baby tried to start a fight with my mom's older cat so YMMV.

I got Miu when I lived with my sister and her two cats, until I soon moved out on my own but my apartment had a pet deposit of $250 per pet.. so I decided to just have only him.

oh for sure! whenever I'm gone at work I was always like "damn isn't he lonely?" but he probably slept a lot.
but next time I adopt I am definitely getting a pair. Hoping for black kitties, I love them... Void cats.
