If we keep up this pace for the next five hours, we should definitely be able to get ten more pages! We can do it!

@Snakeweaver: Hey, you're right! Just today, someone offered to give me an item for free, and I paid them for it anyway haha. We've got a friendly and generous user base and I am so thankful for that <3

@Snakeweaver: Yep, the level of suffering we understand is all relative to our own experience, so if we've had a really easy life, it's difficult to understand and relate to other experiences. Those people can still educate themselves and learn to be sympathetic, and some of them do, but in general, they have no real reason to care about anyone except themselves because there is nothing in it for them. Sadly, whether they have suffered or not, people tend to be selfish ._.

I'm not too lazy to explore, but I am too lazy to post enough to earn the shells I need to explore, which is in effect the same thing, so :P

I'm pretty convinced the Sunken Ship has everything, but I'm really curious what Sailing has. Everything except the Deep Sea Diver, maybe?

@Snakeweaver: I agree, a bit of hardship in life tends to make people more sympathetic towards others' suffering. Ideally, no one would suffer, but that's not realistic, and it's always better for those who are suffering to have others who can relate to them.

I got the Duck Arm Floaties from Sailing today.
Also, since Nephila got them from the Sunken Ship, that means you can get every item from the Sunken Ship.

@Snakeweaver: Man, it sucks that people didn't believe you. When I was a kid I used to get bad headaches that were like migraines with vertigo, and my doctor and teachers were all convinced I was faking it to get out of school, so I kind of get how you felt. I hate when adults refuse to take kids seriously. Hopefully it happens less now that you're older... It makes sense that narrowing your eyes would help too, though I can see how people might misinterpret it as glaring. And I guess there isn't much you can do about that short of wearing a t-shirt that says, "I'm not angry, the sun just hurts my eyes!" :/
Yeah, it is a bit like that though, haha. Like when I used to put the HBO channel on as a kid even though we didn't get HBO, and I could see the general shapes of people but beyond that it was just static. It's much weirder in real life though!

@Snakeweaver: Details are just less clear in the dark. I can see basic shapes, but I can't really make out colors, and everything is a little fuzzier, almost like static.
Sounds like it took some getting used to, but still, that must be pretty difficult for you. There are flashlights to help people see in the dark, but I don't know what you do when you have the opposite problem. Wear sunglasses all the time? :/

@Snakeweaver: Well, it's a trope for a reason, haha. But that's interesting! My only experience with light being painful is from migraines, so it's hard to imagine living with that on a daily basis. Is it just the pain, or is it also more difficult for you to see in the light?

@Snakeweaver: It's like how kids will see a shadow in their room at night and think it's a monster. Our imaginations aren't quite so active as we get older, but similar things still happen from time to time. We're wired to fear the unknown.

@Snakeweaver: I think most people can make out details a lot better in light than dark, so when they see a shape, their imagination tries to fill in the details, and sometimes that can be scary. I never really felt uncomfortable being out at night either, until I moved to the city. I'm from a small town so I'm just not used to it yet, I guess.
