In my town it is. On the main street and everyone gets together, young and old.

Today is king's day here. Everywhere are flea markets. Went to one in my old town this morning and this afternoon to my own town's.
My old town's market, used to be way bigger and they used to have way more. Now my own town has a bigger market and it was way more fun. Talked to a few people I hadn't seen in a while, gave money to a good cause, joked with a neighbour.

@Kozi: I can imagine. I remember going to a town nearby with the national youth council. We were in the middle of a small forest and we all went to the beach by bicycle one evening (it was maybe 2 miles away). A lot of people were scared (especially when me and 2 other who knew the way were going too fast and we lost them).
