Oh... Hey! Got caught up working on a projct, turns out I forgot to tell you guys I have an exciting new selection of holiday crafts in stock! What are they you ask? Well, I heard a lot of mutterings about and overabundance of seal pups and alphacas and my brain hasn't stopped turning.

Wait... Neither seals nor alpaca have paws do they? Apparently my puns need a fresh tuning too...

QUESTION: You mentioned the statue could've been melted by a solvent or a high amount of heat. How much heat would it take to melt it though? Virgil knew it being made from candy would be tricky..It shouldn't have been exposed to that much heat..

@xnovax: Valentina seems to be not paying attention, writing something in her notebook. As you ask her a question she looks up, "Ah well, the melting point of sugar is typically within the 184 and 186°C range. I also overheard that Violet had tampered with it, so it could easily be at a much higher point, it'd difficult to know without a little testing. I really don't know much about magic."

Valentina hums thoughtfully, "Since Vivienne continues to use store bought hairdryers, I doubt they're powerful enough to reach it... But if you're looking for an upgrade, I can help with that!" She taps the pen against her chin, "Actually, it'd be a pretty simple modification, let me see here..." She trails off, seeming lost in her own head as she begins to make calculations in her notes.

Summary
Val and Vaughn have finally been found, and they're working on something big!
Unfortunately, it seems to not be going well.
Maybe Vontell can help read the instructions and help out.

Mechanics
The mechanism is made up of 4 interlocking rings. The first ring is yellow, the second is pink, third is purple and fourth is green.
Follow the instructions and mark where the red line would end up.
This is a group activity. Working together will help make it easier to find all the answers.
But feel free to work alone as well!
Make sure to put your answers under a spoiler to give others a chance to play.

Prize
Once all the correct answers have been found, and at least 12 people have attempted to answer,
the EI Taffy will be added to Joyful Jamboree.

All participants in this thread will be granted a free Taffy tomorrow at noon.

It took a bit of legwork, but Vontell found himself knocking on Valentina’s workshop door soon enough. After a minute or so of awkward standing, he opened the door and almost gagged had he not covered his nose and mouth. Inside he spotted Valentina and Vaughn, seemingly hard at work on something. The combined smell of cigar smoke, machine oil and welding fumes added with the noisy machinery had him slightly disoriented and wrinkling his nose as he approached the two.

“W-Well now, this is somewhat surprising. Good evening to you two. I was hoping you could answer some questions for me…?” Vontell started, though it looked like the two couldn’t hear him. As he got closer, he could hear Valentina talking excitedly with Vaughn despite the noise.

“…And seein’ how the hubbub happenin’ out there’s got everyone in a tizzy, ‘ya knew I just HAD to make somethin’ that’d solve everythin’ in a flash!” as if on cue, sparks flew from the panel Valentina was working on. She lifted her welding mask to admire her handiwork with a huge grin on her face…

…before a spark and pop resulted in a plume of black smoke puffing out. “Oooor…it might make things worse. Who knows, eh? Fortune favors the bold, right Vaughn? Oh oh oh, quick, get the rotational coolant re-breeder from the second shelf while I figure out where the smoke’s comin’ from!”

“Yeah yeah, keep ‘yer knickers on…” Vaughn chuckled at that before turning around, almost dropping his cigar upon spotting Vontell. “Didn’t see ‘ya there, Von. We’re uh…pretty darn occupied right now. Can’t really talk ‘til we’re done with this thing…” He continued, grabbing something from a shelf and handing it to Valentina.

Vontell sighed and nodded, peering at what the two were working on. “Then perhaps I can help get this done faster?” Vaughn nodded, gesturing at the device as Valentina inserted the component into the panel.

"I really need ya help here, guys. Vaughn locked me out of the shop so I'd go to the celebration, but I really need to get back in and get the new awesome speakers I invented! They're perfect for the Block Party, and they don't even give you earache if you walk too close to them while the music's pumping! I swear, if Vaughn thinks he's playing games with me...

He set up all these puzzles on the lock, can you help me solve them? The time will go quicker if I'm not the only one solving them, ya know? And the sooner we can join the rest of the celebrations! I told myself I'd definitely go this year - an anniversary isn't every day! And we've come so far and met so many new people... I want to see them at the celebrations today too! Nothing quite like an audience to show off ya new inventions, yeah?"
