@Panda: My plan for recolors are that they will not replace a Crate items original color permanently. The re-color system is still to be designed, but the plan is that you can attached and detach recolors as you please. This way you do not lose the "original" crate item and/or the recolor. I've explained this somewhere else too where recolors were requested for CIs. ^_^

BTW guys, @melanie: is my awesome sister!!!! So treat her like royalty!

@blinkini: Same. If it resembles a dye system, I didn't want users to purchase a dye, apply to item, and therefor lose the "original" item and the dye. >.<

@blinkini: i cant say for sure, but my initial idea was to be able to attach and detach to items. Kinda like a drag and drop system. Drop on the item to recolor & remove to return to the origional.

@Kent: Recolors for crates items will come eventually. Dont worry! :vanora_smile:

@OpalDeerling: Thank for going more in depth! User designed items would still have to be re-created/pixeled by site staff and they can either be available for volts or ohms, but I don't know how often or when we will start these contests. It takes while to create items, upload them, etc. Especially when our artists are in school/have work. But we'll see what happens! :D

@cedes: When I was working on my announcement the other day this totally came to mind! I'll talk to @baz: about it. ^^

@OpalDeerling: Personally, I feel like I lack in creativity when creating items and lucky I have a great team of creative artists to help me with that! But I do love your item contest, so I think I'll start working on a thread for that soon!

As for eggs/pets, who knows! It might be something we can introduce in the future. As for granting random items, I do plan to have RIGs (Random Item Generators) introduced in OMG imports hopefully within the next few months. ^^
