some people are saying that the fireworks storage is also true, and that it was next to the ammonium nitrate storage, and the fireworks was the first explosion
which is beyond idiotic

BUT!!! this is all speculation!


i knew the blast couldn't have been fireworks alone but the fact that so many locals were saying it was a fireworks storage facility leads me to wonder, because locals would know best what was there. so the fireworks being next to the ammonium nitrate makes logical sense to me

tianjin exploded because the chemicals reacted with water that was used to put out the initial fire, it was a chemical reaction explosion

this supposedly was ammonium nitrate, which was also used by timothy mcveigh in the oklahoma city bombing
ammonium nitrate is explosive when heated

that's just wild

apparently it registered as a 3.3 earthquake
