i used to work to asoftmurmur for background noise too
yes!! i'm reading iq84 by murakami rn - honestly bc i didn't think i'll ever finish it lol
speculative fiction in general is my favorite <3 have you read anything by carmen maria machado (her body and other parties) or alyssa wong? you might like their writing :-)
i'm always down for recs too if you have any favorites you feel inclined to share!
haha no pressure! i know there's a whole song and dance too for getting published so it makes sense why people wouldn't post online

although i am considering maybe fostering a cat or something??
not sure yet how serious i am about it - i have a lot of plants that might be bad for them so i'm not sure how to resolve that :-(
but a friend offered me a bunch of cat stuff if i decide to do it :0

what do you usually write with? / do you have a typical process?

hmm i think my favorite genre is magic realism or surrealist fantasy - i like the element of not knowing for sure whether something that happened was real or not
i would love to read something you've written if you post or share your pieces anywhere :-)

and lol i feel like a lot of animation is trial and error
i haven't animated anything recently but seeing animated art on forum sites (like your piece) has kind of been inspiring me a little :-)
i've been using sketchbook (cuz it's free lol - and decently well made imo) and it comes w/ flipbook, i haven't tried it yet but did look around a little and it doesn't seem too bad to use!
haha best of both worlds hopefully? ^^

i've been trying to get an acrobat but i never see ppl selling them in the exchange!
i think the birds of paradise feet are nice n floaty too :-)
