@Taffy: Tis likely to be clothes, or trinkets for us. Mother strongly believes that a recipient should not see their gifts before delivery. Father and I, when we shop for each other, will put what we want in the cart and receive it from the other on the day. We have learned to feign enthusiasm well enough that Mother thinks that we do the same.

@Taffy: Mother always hides them in the same location, so while she is out Father and I will see what she has gotten us.
You have not.
@Taffy: What she does not know will not harm her. Father and I have learned to feign surprise well enough that she knows not the difference. We are all getting new books, it would seem. Father and I spoke of getting Mother books, this confirms it.
Tis Christmasy.
@ephenay: Thank you.
@Taffy: We do too. We only looked long enough to confirm books, but not individual titles.
You may ask, but I decline to answer.
@Taffy: I do not have a subject that comes to mind at this moment.
@Taffy: I did. The items are not of my preference, but others will enjoy them.
@Taffy: Ones that strike my fancy. I am sorry, I do not know of a better way to explain it.
@Taffy: Tis hard to believe that we are close, yes. Soon, after, 2020.
@Taffy: Seems as though 2000 was just a few years ago still.
@Taffy: Time is a strange thing.
Mother wants a camel. A living, breathing, camel. We live in an apartment complex, and know no farmers or any one with land.
@Taffy: I do not know the workings of her mind. Camels are easier to dissuade than kittens.
@Taffy: We have one. She does not like other animals.
@Taffy: I believe the apartment may also have a one pet per apartment policy as well. We do not exchange gifts on the day of, but on the eve. All books, of course. Father got some fictional war stories. Mother was gifted romance books so cheesy one can smell the milk. I recieved The Land of Elyon and the Circle of Magic quartet, as I have worn my copies down to where they are falling apart.
I have been inactive of late. Forgive me as I update with the new items I am to add to my list.
