Hal was now silent, before leaning forward and massaging his temples slightly.

"It seems your duplicate really did more damage than we first imagined." he said.

"For whatever it's worth, I do apologise for the sudden accusation." he then apologised.

"I'm sorry." he outright said further.

"It's not distrust towards YOU." he went on. "It's towards someone who can very easily impersonate you." he assured her.

"Still. I did not mean for it to be a slight against you."

"To say that my life is a mess.... Would be quite an understate. Ent, if I'm being honest." Erica commented.

"I want nothing more than to have life return to how it was before the bitch showed up, but I know that I can't turn bsck time." She added, sighing heavily.

... Ah, while you're here, I should let you know that I am putting serious consideration into moving. Getting out of this city, this country possibly, may fix it. I'll have to start fresh, but.... It may be better than dealing with this aftermath." there was no blame to her voice. She wasn't accusing him, or anyone else.

If anything, she sounded like she didn't want tj move, but realised it may be the only thing she could do.

Erica didn't say anything for a few seconds before sighing heavily.

"Apparently my curse decided to bring my life to this point too." She said.

"I'm sorry you've been dragged into this so thoroughly." She added. While her words could have bene taken as being token, there was more sincerity to them than he likely would have expected to come from her. Erica wasn't one to speak quite like that, wasn't one for such depressive thoughts or statements.

It was subtle.

As Erica said what he did, specifically when he mentioned the elves name, Erica froze. It seemed as if she was expecting to be ordered around, and knew that she would do so. She wasn't quite past the point of her not being so subservient when triggered.

Turns out that that her name was a pretty big one for her.

She was silent though.

"...lesson learned on mentioning that name..." he mumbled.

"Erica, you don't have to do that." he told her.

"It's all right." he said.

"You're safe. You're away from her."

"I... I just..." she tried again before sighing and falling silent for a few seconds.

"It's a long road to recovery." he told her.

"But just know that we're all here for you." he said.

"I realise that this process takes time and understanding." he went on, before getting up and making his way to her.

"We'll help in any way we can." he said to her.

Erica was silent before sighing.

"Thank you." she said simply.

"All I can ask is for understanding and help if I need it." She added.

"And, perhaps, some allowances to be made." She added.

"But ... I'm not even sure I have much of a right to ask for that, either." She continued. "For all I know, no one will believe that I'm not who was terrorising everyone. She obviously copiued me extremely effectively."

He looked at her and raised an eyebrow.

"Yes?" he greeted her.

"Hello." he greeted her.

The two of them stepped inside, and Zeke looked at her.

"Looking for Leo?" he asked, signing it as well.

"He should be in R&D. Let's go find him." he told her.

"Long story short, they ... got a bit trashed." She commented before looking around.
