Aimee was sitting out in her backyard, enjoying the weather, when she saw a beam of light suddenly form in front of her... and when it died down, she saw Gabriel standing there, looking at her.

And he did NOT look impressed. At all.

He took a few steps forward, levelling a glare at the woman.

"You." he said.

"We're having a discussion. NOW." he declared.

Aimee just sighed as she closed the book and set it aside.

"All rightthen." She said, her voice rather calm.

"What seems to be the problem?" She asked, able to gather that there was a rather large problem. Granted, she wasn't entirely sure what it was, however... she had a pretty good guess.

He didn't like how she was 'corrupting' his brother.

"You will cause my brother pain in his future. I won't have that." he said further.

"But he's stubborn, and won't listen to me." he lamented.

"He WILL listen to YOU, though." he then added, thinking she'd know where he was going with this.

"Possibly, but not entirely a guarantee." Aimee answered.

"What do you expect me to do about your issue?" She then asked.

"Last I checked, you'll be in trouble with your 'boss' if you do anything to me." She continued.

"So, please explain how I can fix your problem, when you wouldn't do the same for me."

Gabriel just grinned. Confidently and connivingly.

"That's true." he said.

"I WILL be in trouble if I do anything to you." he confirmed.

"You." he repeated.

"YOU." he emphasized.

"I think... at his point, you need to wonder about something. Ask yourself a question." he went on.

"Who do you care about more? My brother... or YOUR brother."

Aimee was silent for a moment.

"Uriel has done nothing but good for my brother." She commented, an almost warning tone ot her voice.

"What are you going to do Lex?" She then asked.

Gabriel just shrugged.

"I never said I'd do anything." he told her.

"I'm just saying that it might be a question worth pondering for you." he said.

"And then let your conscience be your guide." he finished with a cocky smirk.

Then, before she could say anything, he took a step back and disappeared in a pillar of light, a single feather left to flutter down towards the ground again.

Aimee was silent as she watched him vanish and the feather hit the grass before fading.

"... right then." she muttered before getting to her feet and heading off into the house again. She made her way up to her bedroom and closed the door before activating the run that was on the back of it.

"Uriel, I need to talk to you." She said, knowing that it acted as a direct connection between them. Or at least her to him, as she wasn't sure about the other way.

"When you get a chance, please stop by."

Sure enough, Uriel made himself have a chance. He appeared within a minute after she summoned him.

"Hey." he greeted her.

"I'm here." he said, before pausing.

"....you look a bit stressed." he then commented, looking at her.

"What's wrong?"

Aimee, who had made her way to her bed and taken a seat, just sighed.

"Well, there was an idle threat from your brother, of course I'm a bit stressed." She commented offhandedly.

"He just left before I called." She continued.

"In essence, he told me to choose between you and Lex."

".........." Uriel was just silent as he heard that.

"Excuse me?" he asked, his tone dark.

"He told you... to choose." he said.

Aimee nodded.

"..." Uriel was silent again, before cracking his knuckles.

"I'll kill 'im." he said.

"I'll beat him so badly he'll be unmade." he growled.

"No! Please, don't." She said after a moment or two.

"I'm sure he wouldn't seriously do anything." She told him.

"Please don't hurt him. Just because he's unhappy doesn't mean you have to beat him up."

Uriel looked to Aimee sharply, before sighing heavily.

"I'm still getting something done." he told her.

"Just because he's unhappy, doesn't me he gets away with threatening you or your brother." he reasoned.

"So I am getting something done about this." he insisted.

"He's not getting away with this scot-free."

"Just... please, don't go overboard, hey?" Aimee pleaded with him.

"I'm sure that whatever you're going to do will be... well... something that he'll remember, but please, don't go overboard. I would rather you weren't in trouble, after all." She added.

"Yeah." he said.

"Same." he told her.

"....but consequences do need to be thrust upon him." he reasoned.

"But I promise I'll try not to get MYSELF in trouble."

"That's all I ask." She sadi simply.

"Truly, all I ask." She repeated with a sigh.

"....I don't think he'd honestly follow through with it though."

"Him making such threats is still unacceptable." Uriel insisted.

"Don't worry, I'll see to it he learns a lesson." he assured her.

He then disappeared from where he was, and appeared back at his home... where his sister, Sariel, noticed him.

And noticed he was fuming.

She then remembered that she had seen Gabriel not so long ago, and he had a smug look to him.

It wasn't hard to guess they were connected.

"What'd he do now?" She asked, her tone... almost impatient, but at the same time not. It was more as if she was exasperated, but again - not quite.

"Because Gabby's looking smug, you look unimpressed... not hard to tell they are connected."

Uriel looked to his sister, and narrowed his eyes.

"He paid a visit to Aimee." he told her.

"And he did not threaten her." he said further.

"He did not directly threaten her brother." he continued.

"However, he insisted that if Aimee is to continue being involved with me, she needs to consider who she cares for more... myself, or her brother." he went on.

"So I'm not happy with him." growled.

"Well then." She started.

"I suppose it's time for me to go and talk to him." She said simply with a light chuckle.

"Unless you would prefer I didn't, of course."
